I was going to try the omelets, but the Bounty Platter with extra scrambled eggs instead of potato cubes was satisfying to me.

Everything Pop Lunch Menus.

I really, really liked the Create Your Own Salad. I got this often for lunch or dinner. They place the lettuce, greens in the container and ask if you want Chicken or Shrimp chunks. I liked the large white Chicken chunks. I always asked for extra. The cast member always said that I could have whatever I wanted.

I added chopped Cucumber, chopped Onions, Croutons, Cheese, and Ranch Dressing. I can't remember, but there might have been one or more toppings.

They also had other dressings, Thousand Island, Caesar, and two others I believe.

If they didn't do the following, I always asked them to mix it up in their metal bowl. They poured the whole salad in a large metal bowl and used tongs to mixe the salad ingredients together. If you thought that you needed more dressing, they could add the dressing and continue to mix it.

Then they poured the salad back into the container. If I was taking it out of the dining area, I would ask for a cover for the salad bowl.

I really did not like the Quiche and Potato Soup. The Quiche must have been sitting too long or premade or frozen. And the potato soup was just awful tasting. I really wanted to like them because I like eggs and soup. I thought that I was getting a sore throat after a very cold night at the parks.

I liked the freshly made Artisanal Pizzas. I bought the #1 Grape Tomatoes, Baby Arugula, Cheese and Olive Oil. The pizza could serve two guests, but I ate the whole thing all by myself. Yes, I did!

When you ordered an Artisanal Pizza, you paid at the cash register, came back in about 15-minutes and waited here in this spot. You showed them your paid receipt and they gave you a pizza. This located at the first station on the left as you enter the Pop Everything food court.

I liked the Cheeseburger, waffle fries and coleslaw. Once I ordered extra waffle fries instead of coleslaw, but since the coleslaw comes in a small container, it seemed like the same large amount of waffle fried that filled the plate with or without the coleslaw.

I liked the Benedict Hamburger, too, since I like fried eggs. It was a tall burger with bacon, fried egg plus other toppings.

I really wanted to try the huge Turkey Sandwich, but I never got around to it.

One night after the parks I really liked the #7 Monster Slice of Cheese Pizza with a side of Caesar Salad.

If I wanted a regular plated meal, I liked the Pot Roast and the Roasted Chicken (Large Breast, wing, and Leg) and Turkey.

I always got the Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans. I liked the steamed vegetable meledy, but the carrots, celery, etc, were cut into really small chunks or pieces.

I did not like the Risotto, but I did like the regular rice.

Everything Pop Dessert, Ice Cream station located outside the food court on the far left of station one.

I did like the Pineapple Soft Serve, $5.32 = $4.99+0.33 tax. They offered it on a cone or cup. I always got the cup and asked for a bowl to dump it in since the serving was so tall and ended up melting over the cup sides.

I missed the Ice Cream Sundae Menu Screen. They had a regular Sundae, or one with Cookie or Brownie. They also had Hot Fudge, Strawberry and Cameral toppings with a lot of whipped cream and a cherry on top. This also melts over the side of the bowl. But what can you do? I start on the outside of the bowl before it drips over.

A lot of guests bought the navel oranges. I tried the premixed single serve Jose Cuervo and Mud Slide for a total of $18.11 including tax, and other pre-mixed drinks. I noticed that the Pop Everything Shopping had a $22.36-750ml Jose Margarita 20.99+1.37 tax.

For those that need Distilled Water for their C.P.A.P. machine humidifier, is located on the bottom shelf.

They seem to sell out a lot of the time of the Mickey Mouse Ice Cream Bars, but just ask and they will restock. They will restock anything that you see is missing.

I also like the Mickey Mouse Ice Cream Sandwiches.

Everything Pop Condiment Products, Toasters, Microwave machines.

They also have one toaster on the end of each of the three soda/cola stations, too.

There is a note to only use toasters for bread and bagels and nothing else. I guess some guests put something in the toaster that melts.

There are three double side stations for drinks and condiments. Each side has similar set-ups, but I will just show one of each item such as the one above. Some of the soda areas do offer one or two different drinks than the others.

The Everything Pop Hot Chocolate and Creamer machines.

There are three buttons on the Hot Chocolate machine. You have to hold the button until the Hot Chocolate is at the level that you want. It does run a couple of seconds after you let go of the button.

Sometimes at night after returning from the parks, the Hot Chocolate just put out water. This usually means that the powdered chocolate mix has run out. I either try another machine or ask a cast member to refill it. Sometimes the cast member just opened the door and shook the three contains low in chocolate powder.

There is nothing worse getting back to your resort room sipping hot water of very weak Hot Chocolate.

I could usually tell by the color of the liquid.

One night all three containers in each of the three Hot Chocolate machines were all empty.

The Creamer Machine next to it is easier to use with your coffee than opening up the individual containers located in the next photo.

On the other side of each station is the following items.

The Everything Pop Tea machines with several push buttons for different flavored teas.

I can't remember all of the Gold Peak Tea selections, but I always pushed the Gold Peak Tea Green Tea.

The Everything Pop One of two Soda/Cola drink stations. This is just one of the stations.

If you don't see your particular flavor, sometimes another station may have your flavor out of the three stations. Not to confuse you but each station has two soda/cola stations.

And each soda/cola has five flavors, the ice dispenser in the center and then five more flavors.

If you just want water, there is a very small square button under the Minute Maid push button for water. Minute Maid is not always the soda/cola, but the water button is always in the same place.

Just hold the small button until your cup fills up with water.

There is no charge for the water unlike having to buy a cup from the cashier or using a refillable mug to fill soda/cola.

Even though each soda station has an ice dispenser, there is an ice dispenser in between the soda stations.

The total cost for each mug is $20.23 = $18.99 + $1.24 tax

The Pop Everything Dining area located at the end of one of the cashier stations.

If you have never used a refillable mug, you pay for it and then the cashier will activate the bottom of the mug so that the soda/cola stations will recognize your mug for the length of stay of your vacation.

I saw a lot of guests holding their refillable mugs in the air and wondering why the soda/cola push button doesn't fill their mug.

You have to place the refillable mug down on the platform below the spout to allow the sensor to recognize your refillable mug.

There is also a small digital screen above that describes why you may not be able to obtain a drink.

Disney Gondola at Pop Century Resort Update Photos 12/2018

I checked out the Disney Gondola progress from the Disney Pop Century Resort.

I started on the Pop Century Resort side of the lake area and progressed to the bridge and then to the Disney Arts of Animation Resort side of the lake.

During the end of my stay, I noticed the thick, permanent main cables were replacing the thinner guide cables.

On my way to the airport, I noticed that there were several construction gondolas along the cable when passing Boardwalk area.

I was looking through the trees at lakeside toward the Disney Art of Animation Resort.

This is not a Disney Gondola, but I wonder if this is what they may look like. It looks like a wheelchair could enter.

I can't wait to use these to just enjoy the views and travel.

For the record, I don't care if they don't have air-conditioned gondolas.

I just love the way that Walt Disney World tries to make everything more accessible for me to travel and visit and ride attractions. Very thoughtful Walt Disney World. Thank you.

Pop Century Resort Airline Luggage drop-off photos 12/2018

Doesn't this photo of the Disney Pop Century Resort look calm and siren?

This is a photo of the "Airline Check-In" for Disney Pop Century Resort located behind the main building with the luggage storage on the left side around the corner.

If you are using Disney Magical Express to go home, the Pop Century Resort will drop a letter on your door one day before you check-out with information.

Take your luggage to the "Airline Check-In" and they will give you your airline boarding pass and take your luggage to be tagged and taken to the Orlando Airport.

They would ask you the same questions as if you were checking in luggage at the airport.

When the D.M.E. bus arrives, just show them the letter that was found on the door the day before.

Here is the sign at the "Airline Check-In".

But sometimes there is a line. Sometimes a very long line if everyone shows up at the same time.

I was lucky to have the first photo experience because I took my luggage early in the morning when the "Airline Check-In" was open.

I had no problems.

Check your room charges! We leave tomorrow and I took a look at mine and saw they'd charged me for parking every night. I don't have a car and never entered the resort on anything but a park bus. No idea why they would think I had a car.

We checked in today. Got none of our room requests. Still happy with our room.

Ran into an issue with the dining plan. We have one room on quick service and one on deluxe. Went to Sci Fi tonight and room on deluxe was showing QS. Manager at Sci Fi called resort, and resort called one of the people on the room and said it was fixed. When we tried to pay, Sci Fi showed it still wasn't working correctly so they said they'd charge it to the room and we could fix it at resort. Returned about 2 hours after dining and resort doesn't show ANY charge on the room. We'll check it again tomorrow. App isn't showing the dining plan (the tab for dining plan isn't there) so we can't check it there.

Guess we'll see what happens tomorrow at Cali Grill Brunch.

Just confirming that you are going into the ‘View Room Details’ section displayed under your FP. This is where they ‘hide’ a number of tabs including information about your dining plan credits, expenses, bus times and more.

Thank you for the heads up. We check out today and I just looked. We we’re not charged for parking but it was good to know to look for it. Hopefully they can quickly clear it up for you!

We leave today on a late flight out so will be checking our luggage then heading to the MK for some final bits of fun and memory making! (Sure hope the crowds that were there last night have gone!! MK was open late until midnight and in my many, many visits to the MK I have NEVER seen crowds like last night!!! We ended up eating but not riding or seeing anything and headed back to Pop at 8:00. Waits were 45 mins for small world, 35 mins for Tea Cups. People Mover wound around and around and the end was near Astro Orbiter. Mickey’s PhilharMagic was lined up almost to Cinderella's Castle!!) We has a FP but didn’t even use that as the lines for FPs extended well outside some of the rides! Crowds have been higher than we normally see but nothing like what we saw last night!!)

Anyway, finally my question, if we have already received my room checkout notification and final charges have been made to my MC can I still use my MB for purchases today? I don’t normally carry other forms of payment to the parks and we normally have early flights so charges are not anything we have to think about.

I've never had issues charging to a Magicband all of check out day.

We were also at MK yesterday afternoon and it was awful. We had intended to stay for HEA, but let immediately after dinner and went to Epcot instead and watched Illuminations.

Then I spent about 10 minutes at the front desk getting the parking charges removed

While in Epcot they scanned our bands for dinner and said my parents room did not have dinning. I called and the pop century rep said we did not check in yet so it was not activated. I told them I did online check in for both rooms and she verified that I did but there was some error on their end. Again, she asked me to take care of it like the luggage guy and then she thought better of it and did it herself. I overheard this same situation at the parks with cast memebers too. I don’t know if it is a new trend or not.

We also had this issue a while back. Our problem was because I had said that we would be to the resort around 3 p.m. but we had left earlier than expected and arrived in the morning. When we went to grab lunch at Sunshine Seasons (yum....oh sorry), our bands were denied because we weren't supposed to be there yet.

I paid and was reimbursed for the meal but it was craziness for a bit. The CM at the time told me to just start putting an 8 a.m. arrival time to avoid the confusion in the future. Hope this helps someone else!

Yes, you'll be able to use your MB for purchases up until midnight of check out day. We've done this many times. They will just run your CC again after Midnight.
