Well, friends, this was by far the best Disney vacation ever. Funny thing is, I'm not going through the depression/withdrawel phase just yet. I think that it probably has to do with spending just about the right amount of time in Florida, and already planning for the next trip.
The Good:
Having a kind soul return my checkbook
Being able to do something nice for someone else
The Illuminations Cruise (thank you Luv2Travel!!)
MVMCP Fireworks
The Wilderness Lodge
Joining the DVC
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
Buzz Lightyear
RNRC the first two times
Tower of Terror
Backstage Magic Tour
The Candlelight Processional (WOW!!)
Coming home with everything paid for
The CMs, who really went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful time
THE BAD:
Frontier Airlines
Lukewarm water at Wilderness Lodge for showers, and boiling hot water at the sinks
RNRC the third time
Losing my checkbook, and everything else for a time
No access to 800 numbers anywhere in the World except for hotel rooms
THE UGLY:
CM Waitstaff at Beaches and Cream
All told, I probably spent in excess of around $5,000 this trip, not including joining the DVC But you know what? I'll do it again in a heartbeat. There's no place like Disney (with apologies to Judy Garland).
Next trip: Disneyland Paris in April (it's time to vary my vacations, don'tcha think? )
