Disney Reward Points for Dining

According to Chase's site on dining redemption for Disney reward points, there are quite a few restaurants left off the list.

No: Pecos Bills, ABC Commisary, Liberty Inn, Nine Dragons, 50s Prime Time, Cinderella's, etc

Is the list at Chase just not comprehensive? What about snack carts and counter service?

I guess I could buy Disney gift cards with the Redemption Points as a work around. Any help would be appreciated.

It never occurred to me they would not work everywhere. I used them at Crystal Palace and 'Ohana with no problems

We have never had a problem using ours anywhere, including Pecos Bill's and Liberty Inn. You should be able to use it anywhere in WDW just like a gift card.

2) Charge all eats to the KTTW card.

The list on the Chase site is not comprehensive. We use ours everywhere on property and have never been turned away. We like to use ours for tips at TS restaurants!

I got the chase premier card recently and really have no idea what I am doing. How do I go about getting the giftcard with the point on it? How far in advance do I need to do that (want as many points as possible on the card)? Do the points work in the stores as well?

How do you apply gift card to your resort bill. At check in or check out?

This is what we do too! So easy. We charge everything with our KTTW card, and use our points to pay our room bill

The easiest way would be to set up an online account with using your Chase Premier Card. If you don't want to do that call the Chase telephone number that came with your card and have a customer service rep do it all for you.

I've been using the rewards card since it debuted, and I've never had a problem redeeming it. What I usually do is charge everything to the KTTW card. Before I check out (the night before or even a few days before, if I know I've "spent" all of my rewards), I stop by the concierge desk and have them apply the rewards to the bill. It's quick and easy.

I've also used the rewards card directly in stores and restaurants, and I've never had a problem with using it to pay the bill. No one on Disney property has ever refused it. As I recall, the general rule is if the site takes the KTTW card or a credit card, it will accept the rewards card. If it is a cash only operation, any type of card will not be accepted.

Good answers by everyone. We have had this card for several years now and have always used the points at WDW without any problems. I will add that if you have never used it, you need to make sure you apply for the rewards card several weeks before you plan to use it. After you physically have the rewards card you can load it easily, we have even done it at the parks guest services. be mindful of the points you load because once you move them to a redemption card they will expire earlier. Also, be sure you ask for discounts at Disney stores and other places on property, there are some unpublished ones.
We actually had enough points to pay for a two night trip with food. Great if you love Disney.

As far as I know you will not be allowed to use the Visa reward dollars at the Swan and Dolphin. I am not sure about all the third party restaurants at DTD, or about snack kiosks. You can use them anywhere else.

I just got my Rewards Card in the mail - I ordered it last week from chase.com. Once you've accumulated rewards points by using your Visa card, you can log in at chase.com and view the rewards balance available. There will be a link for "redeem your rewards" and then an option to order a Rewards Card.

Once you get the Rewards Card in the mail, you call and activate it and then can use it like a credit card at Disney locations, and as you earn more rewards dollars you can go to Chase.com and have the dollars transferred to that Rewards Card.

That is a question I really need answered. Has anyone used reward points at Rainforest Cafe or T-Rex? I suspect as they are separate corporate partners and not Disney, probably not.
