Can anyone tell me what kind of souvenirs are available at the Disney on Ice shows? We (okay, I) scored second row center ice tickets for a show and need to know how much STUFF my 3 year old is going to demand when we get there. (And what am I going to want? ;) )

Also, is it customary for the girls to dress up in Princess outfits for the show? We are going to the one that is all the Princess stories. I know she will want to dress up if given the opportunity. princess: Any feedback?

Thanks in advance!

We saw this show in Pittsburgh last month. I saw many girls dressed up as Princesses. :goodvibes

I remember they were selling cotton candy with a Princess crown with Mickey ears, snow cones in a souvenir cup, light up twirly gadgets, stuffed animals, programs, and assorted other trinkets. We didn't buy anything, just glanced at the tables. My DD is 10 and understood when I told her "No". Good luck saying "No" to a 3 year old, though! :teeth:

We saw this show a couple years ago and my DD wound up with a T-shirt, which was about $16. We got it a size larger than what she wore and it has lasted these past 3 years. It has Jasmine on it in ice skates. Cute. And we always buy a program. Most of the stuff is typical of what you'd see at TDS: Light-up spinners, magic wands, plush, Barbie-type princess dolls. They usually have a nice coloring book for about $5, too, which I think we wound up with courtesy of Grandma. If it's her first D on Ice, splurge a little. And definitely let her wear the princess dress! She'll remember feeling special. :cloud9:

We just saw the Incredibles last week and managed to get out of there with no souvineers! :cool1: We just ushered the kids right to the seats and sat there the whole time. When it was time to leave, we had to hurry them out of the arena fast so we could eat lunch. Be prepared, I didn't see much for under $20. I would imagine the prices would be comparable at the two shows.

The stuff for sale at Incredibles was much less appealing than at the Princess show. Those masks were completely annoying! No cute T-shirts, just pretty bland stuff . . .

Thanks for the info - I was actually hoping for a t-shirt, and she'll also probably end up with some kind of toy. I need to get busy and make the snow white dress (that is the one she's been bugging me for the most! but she also wants Tink, and Cindy, and Aurora, and . . . . sigh.)

Gee, if you're going to make her Snow White, Tink, Cindy & Aurora you might as well throw in a Belle dress too and... ;)
I think it's great that you're making her a princess dress. It'll make it that much more special.
:wizard:

My DD's favorite princess outfit is Jasmine, have to admit I bought it though.

We're going to see the princesses on ice in just a couple of weeks. I bought a light up princess spinner toy on sale at TDS to take with us. Probably saved $10 over the prices they charge at the show.

I also have a pair of princess gloves and a little fleece lap blanket (Jasmine of course) to take with us.
We sat down pretty close for the Nemo show and it was chilly!
