Discount for owners locker

I vaguely remember reading that owners locker was giving a discount to dvc members not too long ago. Am I making this up or can anyone help refresh my memory and tell me about it! Thank you so much!

Although I consider myself a fairly efficient packer, I still bring quite enough things to make my stay more enjoyable and still bring travel Lysol, paper plates and napkins, etc. and always order food and/or paper goods for the week.

We have been DVC owners since 2009 and never understood the need for an OL. We fly each trip and my bag is at 50 lbs unless we fly SW, where we can get two but really never need a second.

What is the draw for the OL and the yearly fee? Maybe I DO need one lol
