Wow - only 3 months. Really looking forward to this. We've done this ABD 4 times already but are really looking forward to seeing the parks all decorated for the holidays.

Wow, the count down is on. As I had previously mentioned my wife and I are looking at doing one of the VIP Universal tours and I see there are others interested as well. Has anyone booked anything yet? Speaking with Universal there are still openings on the Mix In tour for 1 December, $369/person. We were considering doing the Private Walking Tour, $1999 for a up to a party of four on that Saturday (each additional person is $399). There is a Full Service tour that covers 16 people, $6500.

Has anyone done any of these tours?

· a gourmet all-you-can-eat buffet in our VIP dining area

· Once your VIP Experience is over, you are welcome to stay until the park closes with unlimited Front of the Line access to every ride, show and attraction in the theme park that has a "Gate A" entrance

@wnwardii and I are looking are doing the mix in tour on the 1st. We are likely going to book it next week. I’m looking at the first two time slots of the day(there are 4). I’m not interested in the middle option since for me the purpose of the tour is to do the stuff on the front and back lot of the studio and I think the private option may be a bit out of my price range.

My husband and I are flying from Orlando to LAX the morning of December 2nd (I wasn't able to take off work the day before). We should arrive by 9:25am.
We are flying out of LAX on the 7th at 9:45pm. This is our first time in Los Angeles and Disneyland. Does anyone have suggestions on what we can do our first day before we meet up for dinner?

I would suggest exploring the area around our hotel. There is lots to do there. Something else you might enjoy doing is the Farmers Market or maybe Griffith park Looking forward to meeting you and all of our other travelers on this adventure.

Ron, thanks for reminding me of the number of days left. We are finally starting to see the light and the end of the tunnel after already seeing 15 months pass by.

Alexis,
Luv Eeyore had suggested the LA Farmers Market just as Ron has. After doing some research, we are probably going to go check it out on December 1st. I would also like to go visit Norman's Rare Guitars, but seems a little far from Hollywood. A co-worker of mine suggested Rodeo Drive on a Sunday for people watching and exotic car spotting.

I'd limit the amount of stuff you plan for that first day. You'll be leaving MCO about 6 am, meaning you'll probably be up at 4:00 am. Even if you can catch a nap on the flight you're bound to be tired. The suggestion above for the Farmers market (great place to get something to eat) and just walk around Hollywood Blvd to take in the sights will be more than enough. Plan on a nap in the room before hitting the welcome dinner that night. There will be an activity afterward and you won't get to bed until late in the evening. The next day starts out pretty early.

We have now booked the VIP tour for 12/1 at 9:45am if anyone wants to join us.

This is really weird. Not getting up at zero dark thirty to make fastness choices. No planning/:cutie:
