Dining Rotation - 7 day Bahamas/Galveston

Hello First time cruiser here. We are on the Wonder in November. I have a question about the Dining rotation and well dining in general. Is there only one restaurant open each night and everyone eats at that one place at their assigned seating. Or all three opened and passengers are split among the three?

Also, how do you know which restaurant you begin with? Do you have to wait until you board or can you find out sooner?

All three are open and everyone is split into three groups. You rotate every night with your table mates and servers. You get your rotation when you check in. I have heard you can call and find out your rotation.

I have heard you can call and find out your rotation.

You can call and find out the rotation order, for example 1223123 might be one rotation (or it could be 1231123, or 1233123 or 1231223, and so on). The actual order that you dine in this rotation could be APPTAPT; PTTAPTA; TAAPTAP (if that's is the order of the MDRs - I don't know).

The guest complement is split into 6 groups (2 seatings, 3 MDRs). Each group will start in a different MDR. All groups will dine in the same MDRs, with the same menus during the cruise.

You can call make a request for a specific rotation order, but it's not guaranteed. You will find out your MDR rotation at checkin at the port. It will be printed on your KTTW card.

Congratulations on your first cruise!

As previously stated by other posters, there are three different dining rooms that you will rotate through. You will dine in one three times and the other two twice. You may be able to find out the rotation order by calling DCL but you will not be able to find out your starting restaurant. Unless you plan on doing PALO, you probably don't need to where you are eating, which night.

When you recieve your KTTW card at check in, the dining rotation will be located on your card. Also, when you get to your assigned cabin, there will be vouchers that you can take to the appropriate dining room at the time you requested dinner.

There is no need to arrive at dinner early. The doors do not open until the appropariate time and your table number, also located on your KTTW card, reserves your table.

I have been on several cruises and have never had a reason to care in what order we eat in what dining room.
