Dining Plan for Fantasmic Dining Plan

So we are DVC members and was looking at doing a Fantasmic Dining Package.
Am I looking at this wrong? The Mama Melrose or 50s Prime Time is $60-$65 and that includes an alcoholic beverage. The dining plan for one night is $94.28. So if I booked a one night reservation and bought the dining plan for one night and did the Fantasmic Package that would use say $60 of the cost. I would then have a quick service meal and snack to use. Is that a $34.28 value?
So is there value here or is it a wash? It seems the dining plan is priced to perfection to be of equal value to just paying for each meal.

You would also each get a Disney refillable mug valued at $22.99 plus tax each one good for 14 days, even at your next reservation. That would save you a good amount of money if you drink soda, coffee, and tea. It is easy to spend $34 for a quick service meal with an alcoholic drink included if you search for the more expensive ones like Polite Pig at Disney Springs. Your snack would be free. The value would really be the mugs for the duration of your stay.

It can be of value for one night, as as the PP mentions, the refillable mug can make it more than worthwhile. Only thing to consider is what if you are not able to get a Fantasmic Dining Package reservation? Not sure when you are going and if it is a more difficult time to get a reservation. Would you be okay dining elsewhere?

Plus you can have an alcoholic beverage with your fantasmic meal if you are paying with your dining plan, so that would raise the value too!

Years and years ago, maybe 2008 ish? we did Fantasmic dining package, and the seating we got was just terrible! Way over to the right bottom ish row seating. Is the seating better now when doing the Fantasmic dining package? (note, we are not doing the dining plan). Years ago it was the Sci Fi dining then seating.
