Yes. You get 12% off the price of tickets. Only certain tickets ore offered. You can phone the TT General motors lounge to request an order form.

My dearly departed grandpa was a gm employee. We still get to use his discount for the cars though. Do you think we could use it for the tickets as well?

Sorry- that is Test Track. That is where the GM lounge is. I do have the number and can send it to you as soon as I get home from work and find it.

I don't know if you can use someone else's benefits because my DH has to show his current General Motors I.D. when we use it.

The discount says that it is for all GM employees and retirees. They will request a WDW-GM employment verification form along with your ticket request. The discount is 12% off gate price and they only offer these tickets:
1 day MYW
3 day MYW hopper
4 day MYW hopper
5 day MYW hopper
5 day MYW premium
6 day MYW premium
7 day MYW
7 day MYW premium

Well it looks like only your grandpa would be eligible since he was the employee/retiree, so afraid this option wouldn't work for you.

If you work for GM, login into www.socrates.gm.com and use the marketplace tab. Choose Test Track and print out the Employement varification form and the Discount Ticket Form. Weve gotten discount tickets, and they have saved us quite a bit off Disney prices!!

For the tickets, I beleve you have to be an active employee.

Ok anyone know which it is?? Can retirees use the discount or not? I would think it would work just like the car discount also and i know i can get that, b/c i also! So anyone know for sure?

Sorry to create the confusion . Im not sure, but somewhere I remeber hearing that you have to be active. By the way, GM's Avis discount code (which is avalible to everyone) is A126000.

Retirees can get the GM priced tickets, my dad is a GM retiree and he checked into it. Call the HR department, and there will be someone who knows about the discount tickets, that's who you need to talk to about ordering them.
