I'm good at DL, I have my strategy there that works great at MK also. (Hint : go left)

But DCA is still a bit of a mystery to me.

Initially, I planned on a RSR role drop, but I am starting to rethink that, as it seems to be the default thinking for most people.

I have noticed that the rides that seem to have the longest waits are TSMM , Soarin, GOTG , and RSR.

So I thought perhaps do GOTG, swing back to Soarin, the make way to TSMM for a rope drop run.

I am fine with a Paid LL for RSR, but I would like to try standby maybe later at night.

What do you guys think.

Definitely hit GOTG pretty early, it never seems to go down later, while Soarin' times might drop a few times during the day. Can't tell you how many times I put off GOTG and it never came down again. If you want to do TSMM a couple times do that first, but then getting Back to GOTG is a long haul. If you just want to do TSMM one time, I'd personally hit GOTG first. RSR has Single Rider lane so if you get a long wait, you have that as a shorter line option. RSR is soooo pretty at night, be sure to at least go back there in the early evening - you can eat on the side of Flo's (food from Flo's or one of the Cones) for a pretty view. BTW, while I try to hit Rope Drop at DLP, if I get to DCA 15-30 minutes later it is usually still pretty nice - DLP seems to have the more frantic vibe right after rope drop in the a.m. ;) although do Not get between anybody and their first ride at either park lol, I've kinda lost my desire for rope drop after seeing the look in the eyes of the front runners...

Are you staying on property with Early Entry privileges? In that situation, my daughter and I rope drop Guardians of the Galaxy, usually ride twice. Then we hit Webslingers just as the park opens to everyone and it's practically a walk on. The RSR queue will fill up during EE, so I wouldn't plan on having a short line if you don't rope drop it. My daughter is old enough that we use the single rider line for RSR and we usually don't have to wait longer than about 20 minutes after we're done with Webslingers. Then we head to Pixar Pier and enjoy shorter lines - we can usually ride Incredicoaster once or twice, and TSMM usually still has lower wait times - until the park's been open for about 60-90 minutes and things get busier. At this point, I've purchased LLMP and we start using that to avoid lines. We tackle Soarin' with LLMP.

We are off site! :(

Westin Anaheim.

So we will be behind the EE. We have done CL at night but not done RSR at night.

I'm kinda happy with riding everything once in DCA. We will have LL so the main rope drop strategy is to get in some of the longer lines early and do 2nd runs with LL later that evening (stack em!)

I don't care for Webslingers at all, so that's not a concern.

The hike to Soarin from GOT is the main concern, then the hike to TSMM.

We have an 11 at LL for lunch, so if we can sqeeze in those 3 after rope drop and maybe Incredicoaster I think we would be prime.

Then we would be to move forward through the park using LL and end up in Hollywood for dinner at the Chinese New year booths.

Then see what we wanted to do for the rest of the evening.

We have 10:30 at Hearthstone after hours for cocktails and snack if needed.

When are you going? I would recommend doing a dry run on the app on the day of the week that matches up to the day you're going. Check the wait times around 8:30 PST to see what has the longest waits and adjust. I definitely think GOTG is the best to hit first.

I was in DCA off property over Christmas. We didn’t get EE obviously but rope dropped. For RSR, even though we were on the rope, we waited 40 minutes. I would purchase this ride next time as if ate up most of my rope drop!

We did rope drop GOG>webslingers>tsmm>soarin
The second day and it was soooo much better!
