Where can we buy our own Cuisinart pods to bring to WDW?
DH likes coffee - maybe not WDW's flavor
DW likes tea
Can the Cuisinart make just hot water ?
Can we add bottled water to the Cuisinart or it is fed water automatically.

Sorry for so many questions.
We have a Keurig coffee maker at home with K-cups.

Not sure about where to buy your own - I don't think I've ever seen them available (haven't really looked hard though).

Yes, it can make hot water - just don't put a pod in the basket thing.

Yes, you can add bottled water, it's not fed automatically. I'd recommend bottled water for taste (and I usually run 1-2 cycles first and dump for no other reason than it makes me feel better).

I only recommend the Cuisnart pod machines if you have one coffee drinker in your room. I had to use two pods to make one cup as I thought they were too weak on their own (but I like my coffee on the stronger side!). Mousekeeping will give you more if you ask, but it's not always easy. It's possible BBB or Amazon would have them, but they'd have to be a specific size.

Our last trip we stayed at Wilderness Lodge and a room right near the elevator that took you down to Roaring Forks. For my husband and I it was much easier to go down and use our refillable mugs for coffee each morning. I noticed there is no RFID thingie on the urns like on the soda machines and some people were using their in-room mugs. What's the official rule on that?

There are some resorts where you can be very far away from the coffee though.

The official rule is that coffee is not free and you need to pay for it.

Ha! I just noticed that I provided info in response to your question, in a different thread (about Coffee and Cream)

This is from the Beach Club FAQ, but gives you some info about and pictures of the Cuisinart machines.

I agree with others that the coffee is "weak" and two pods are better than one.

I think people have ordered some through Walmart.com or Amazon, but you are probably better off asking housekeeping for additional pods.

What kind of coffeemakers are in the resort rooms?

As of October 2011, the drip coffee makers in the BC and YC resort rooms were replaced.

The regular resort rooms and club level rooms (including Deluxe Rooms) at the BEACH CLUB now have the Cuisinart Double Pod Machines** and as of 2017, the renovated YACHT CLUB rooms have Keurig single brew machines

Since late 2018, some, but not all guests have reported having Keurig machines in Beach Club rooms. We have not been able to figure out how many or which rooms have these coffeemakers instead of the Cuisinart ones.

Another option would be to buy some empty tea bags...like the kind people use for loose leaf tea. Those should work with coffee, too. They will probably be slightly bigger than the actual pods, but I don't see why that would matter much.

Or, you could be like me and go the cheap route by using regular coffee filters. Fill them and fold the filter in half so the portion where the grounds are is roughly the size of the image provided by natebenma. The extra part of the filter will stick out, but it still works.
