I just got the canvas capri flip-flops in the mail today. They seem very comfortable! But, I'm wondering if those bumps start to wear on the bottom of your feet after a while.... Do the bumps wear down after a bit? I have until July to try to wear them down for our WDW trip! :cool1:

Thanks!

I LOVE my crocs, and no, the bumps don't bother me or even wear down as far as I have noticed. Make sure you wear them on some trial runs, but I would not tour in anything else!

They did bother me a little at first, but then after a few days they didn't. The more you wear them, themore they wear down, or at least my capri flip flop ones did. I haven't worn my Mickey Crocs as much, so they haven't worn down as much.

They did bother me at first when I got my first pair, but then I got used to them. One thing is, that when I wear them at WDW, or wherever I go that I walk a lot, I usually wear them with socks. They may not look the best, but when I walk a lot, they are more comfortable that way for me. I just wear the small ankelet socks, so they don't look too funny.

I agree, they are supposed to massage your foot. Embrace your bumps! :lmao:

I was wondering this too. I had a pair of Speedo flip-flops that had a bump across my big toes and created a painful flap of skin-like a cut on my toes-last summer. That has kept me from purchasing Crocs this summer, because those bumps look painful!

I got my first pair of crocs at Disney because my sneakers gave me terrible blisters. The crocs were great for relief from the blisters but by the end of the day the bumps were TORTURE! After that I wore them with socks and didn't even care how dorky I looked!

I agree with just about everyone too! I have the athens flip flops and have never been uncomfortable in them. I also have the tradtional caymens which I wear alot in early spring and fal with socks and jeans.

Plus I bought the patra style sandle with canvas style strap across toes and top of your foot...they are very comfy if you don't like flip flops and I recently walked a 5K in them with no issues at all.

I plan to tour in those and my cleos

I have two pair I have to wear with socks and one pair I can wear without them. Not sure why as they feel the same to my hand.

The bumps are the best part. They kinda massage your feet while you are walking! :thumbsup2

I keep telling my Dh that since the bumps have worn down, it is time for a new pair, he just looks at me like I am crazy :confused3

I worried that they would so didn't wear my Crocs in the parks at first...then one day when we knew we would be coming back to the room I wore them. OMG!!! I have never been so comfy in my life. Didn't feel the bumps at all. LOVE my Crocs and would never dream of wearing anything else.

I noticed the bumps at first, but then got used to them. Last trip for the first time I wore Crocs for the whole trip starting from the airport. What a difference. This is the first trip I was not in total agony.

I don't even feel them anymore and I have super sensitive/ticklish feet.

The bumps are what actually stopped me from getting them for awhile. Then this winter they came out with the 'fuzzy ' ones as my 5 yr old calls them and I got them for slippers and they were so comfy! I decided I had to get the reg kid. I got over the bump issue. I am also one of those people who have very picky feet. I hate socks aI hate sneakers they just bother me. So it was a big thing for me to break down and just get them. so far so good. I decided next week when we go to the museum I will wear them for a trial run to get ready for WDW. If they work out over the summer I may buy a new pair and start breaking them in for our trip in Nov.

I don't think I've given my crocs a fair chance. The bumps bothered me when I got them, so I've only worn them a couple of times. Maybe I should get them out and try to "break them in". :)

I like the bumps I think they feel neat on my feet. Once I walk around a bit I don't even feel them anymore though. I'm part of the dork brigade and wear socks with my caymans. I've even worn socks with my mary janes to school (would that be super dork brigade then?) I do wear my sassari (wedge heel) and my other high heeled ones (forgot what they're called) without socks. Even I have some fashion standards LOL :rotfl2:

You definitely get used to the bumps!

I wore my flip flops last February every day and they are soooo comfy. To me, they're almost more comfy than my beach Crocs. And I've never been one to wear flip flops so that's a big deal for me!!!

The bumps massage your feet and are supposed to help w/ circulation. They're doing something right, because at the end of the day my feet are never sore even w/ a lot of walking.

My crocs are very comfortable but the minute they get just slighlty wet they make my feet raw. I wore them to MK one year. As I walked around more and more my feet began to sweat and the next thing I knew I had very sore raw feet. My feet were fine later on at night. But I was really feeling let down by my crocs.
