Does anyone know what resort they take you to in Cozumel for the "All-Inclusive Beach Resort Day (CZ300)"?

I did a reverse image search on pictures from the gallery for the CZ300 excursion and the Iberostar Waves Cozumel showed up as the resort in the pictures

Since they don’t name the resort, I wouldn’t be surprised if they utilized multiples vendors.

Probably worth pointing out that you can buy a day pass at most local resorts for a fraction of what DCL charges. Some are AI, some aren’t - but are a better deal because they will give you food and beverage credit equivalent to what you paid for the pass.

Yes definitely. We've done both in the past and am definitely not limiting myself to just DCL excursions. Thank you!

This takes place at an unnamed AI resort and includes use of their pool, beach loungers and all-you-can-eat and drink.

Passion Island visits… Passion Island, which requires an interesting boat ride to get to. Beach/ water activities are included as is a buffet lunch and drinks.

There’s also another excursion that visits Playa Mia Grand Beach, another AI hotel. It’s price in between the above.

For the price they’re charging to the AI resort this thread is about, it’s gotta be a nice one… (over $600 for a family of four).

Passion Island has a greater risk of cancellation due to sea conditions.​

Typically, resort excursions allow fewer cruisers to visit on the day, as their focus is hotel guests.

And you can expect a pool and shade.

Passion Island will probably have guests from multiple cruise lines on the same day.

Passion Island offers water activities which may or may not be present or included at the resort.

Resort visits can be thought of as more subdued, where Passion Island would be more focused on fun in the sun.


The resort may include unlimited alcohol. The Passion Island description states “a margarita.”
