Hi,

Sorry if this has been discussed before - didn't have any luck using search.

Looking for a general cost list for everything not included in the cruise price (onboard upgrades, spas, excursions, etc). Planning to book a trip this spring, but the lack of price transparency on the DCL website is a bit off-putting, even after selecting a ship/date and moving through the booking process all the way up to the actual payment/deposit screen.

Honestly, it kind of depends on what you might want to do that is extra cost. It is very possible to take a cruise without anything extra (assuming you pre-paid the auto-gratuity). Or you can rack up another couple thousand. Can you give us ideas of what you might want to do that costs extra? Excursions - what port. Adult beverages. Spa services. Souvenirs. etc.

When it's time for you to book extras, you'll see the costs when you're booking them. Most things you don't pay for until you are on the ship, and you can cancel them 3 days? before the cruise.

I'm not sure what the current Palo/Remy costs are as we have no interest in booking them.

Drink tasting classes currently range from $45-$70/person.

This summer, the alcoholic drink of the day was $8.56 with the 18% auto gratuity. Regular priced cocktails were $11-$15.

For OUR extra costs, it's gratuities $14.50/passenger/night; port adventures, and alcoholic or specialty beverages. All our food is free, and regular beverages in the main dining rooms and beverage center on the pool deck is included. We did buy Internet for 1 day last cruise to check in for our flight, it was $28 for the day. DH and DD23 played Bingo once and spent $80 for 2 electronic sets and 2 paper sets.

All theater shows, movies, entertainment is included.
