Coach Outlets - Returns?

Does anyone know their return policy? DH got me a purse there for Christmas to replace my old one. It's beautiful but the style while close to my old purse is just a little "off". (The zipper goes down the sides as well as across the top which means stuff will fall out the sides since I tend to forget to zip and the handles are too short, I can't put it on my shoulder or arm, only hold it in my hand and while it came with a removable shoulder strap it's tooo long and not adjustable). I want to return it but DH is like you can't return it that's all they have. This may be the case, especially this close to Christmas but I was wondering does anyone know their return policy? Can I wait until January to return it or do I have to return within 1 week. Also, can I return without a receipt (DH is really bad about saving them)?

I've returned items to the Coach outlet without any issue at all. DD returned a gift she received and didn't have the receipt. She wanted to exchange it for the same bag, but a different color, but they didn't have anymore. They gave her what the lowest price was the bag sold for and she ended up buying something completely different.

I bought a coach bag at a factory store recently. (In Hawaii, thought it was a regular coach store)
When I got back home, I saw a bag I liked better and tried to return the first one I bought. The sales clerk told me that she couldn't credit my card or give me back money, but that she could let me exchange the bag for the one I wanted and pay any difference, which I happily did.

She went on to say that any coach bags purchased from a factory store could not be returned for credit/cash reimbursement and as of October of 2013, any outlet stores were no returns or exchanges at all.

I didn't see any "no returns" at my recent visit to the Coach outlet store in MA, but below is what the Coach site says. You can return outlet merch to regular store for credit.

Funny you should ask about returns. I also have a Coach bag bought from the outlet and I called them. They said you can return it whenever you want. I'm not sure if she meant I can exchange it or get my money back because I have the receipt.

Yes, it can be returned. I also think that the factory store things can be returned at any regular coach store. I know mine takes outlet returns.

I would return as soon as possible if you don't have a receipt, because as time goes by, and if it goes on clearance, you are going to get less money for it.

They should have his info on the computer but I don't know if that will make a difference in how much credit you get back.

Our PTA had a Coach purse bingo and I purchased way too many items and I had no problem returning them. Some I had only the gift receipt, some the receipt and some no receipt. Even the ones with no receipt, I was able to get credited back to my charge since they had it all tied together in their system. I have more items I need to return but waiting for the after Christmas rush to end and will return them next week.
