Choc Strawberries/Champagne Room Service

Can I call private dining and have a plate of chocolate covered strawberries and champagne delivered to our room (staying at Yacht Club)?

Is it best to order through private dining before we leave or should I wait until we check in and order through room service? I was kind of hoping to keep this as a surprise for DH though...

Has anyone else ordered this and what was the cost?

I've had roses delivered to the room for husband, when were out; so he was surprised when when came back. I think I used Disney Florals or something like that. Check it out, they had more than just flowers. I found them when reading some other posts, this was last year.

Thanks for the tip! I looked around disney florist and they all seem to be larger gift baskets which I dont really want...Just looking for something small...and not too expensive...

All of the resorts that offer room service (like the Yacht Club) have a menu of special items that can be ordered, and chocolate covered strawberries seem to always be on the list, they're a popular item. I'm sure you can get champagne as well.

Unless it has changed the chocolate covered strawberries require a 24 hour notice.

We had the YC bakery make us a special fondant cake, it was amazing So I know they can make special items. The cake chatter thread has pics of the strawberries and other items the YC bakery can make and the phone number to call.
