Cast Portal

Anyone having trouble getting in to the Cast Portal lately? I haven't been able to for the last few days. It asks me if I wish to see the non-secure information and then gets hung up, never opening up to the site.

Anyone else? This always seems to happen to me right before a trip when I am really looking for information.

No problems here. I just logged on to check. I do know that I have all sorts of issues when I use either Mozilla or Opera for my browser, so for this site alone, I keep MS Internet Exploder on my system.

My only problem that I was having was typing in the actual address in the address bar. I had to go to Google and do it that way.

I had to laugh at your Internet "Exploder". Not sure if you meant to spell it that way but that's exactly what I would call it. I've had sooooo much trouble with my Internet Exploder lately that I'm ready to Explode.

Oh, I entirely meant to call it that. I am -><- close to living in a M$oft free world.
I run Linux/Solaris servers at work, have several Linux boxes at home and have a PowerBook G4 as my laptop. It's sad that I have to keep a M$ product on my Mac, but I do... I actually have a windoze box at home as well, but I really only use it for playing games that aren't available any other way...

I'm rather vehemently anti-M$... as are most of the people I work with

Thanks, it was my bookmark that seemed to be the problem. If I typed the address in the browser bar, it works fine now. Thanks, again, just in time for my trip.

Is it a Disney post it board for CM like this one?

What is the portal and how do we get there....

The portal is the Walt Disney Company internal website. This is for employees of the WDC. It now connects all parts of the Disney Company together. You can find Walt Disney information, WDW information and DL information, along with a host of other information. My husband can access his payroll and personal information via the portal, along with information about perks and benefits. He and the CMs at his store (the Disney Catalog Outlet) registered through the computer system at his store. You can also register while in WDW at one of the kiosk located throughout property. Before his division became part of the DWSS/EAS system, we had earlier registered at Team Disney. But when his division was added to the portal, he had to re-register through his store. The information is handy, but not always accurate and up-to-date.

But like someone mentioned, you need to have a user ID and password to access this site.

Users cannot share ID's. By logging in under your assigned ID, you will be able to access your personal information, including paystubs, benefits, and other personal information.
