Booking room only -- payments?

Hello! Would anyone please confirm whether you're meant to pay for your stay (besides the deposit) at check-in? I thought I'd read payment must be due in full 45 days previously to check-in, but maybe that's only for packages?

No. For room only, you pay one night when you book and the rest at check-out....same as for room only at WDW.

I thought for room only at WDW your full balance for the room stay is charged the day you checkin, sometimes even before you arrive. That is why I always call a few days before to pay off my room with gift cards. I like how Universal does it better (charges for the room stay at checkout).
