Hi! I'm going to spend 2 weeks in Orlando in January 2007 and we will be celebrating my daughter's birhtday there also... anything special that I can do at Universal studios and Island of Adventure? It's my first time in the parks, so I don't know what to expect... I guess it must be a little like the one in California which I have been... I know that the Orlando one is much, much bigger..... hourrrray! can't wait to go.....

Yes...Universal Orlando is much much bigger. I don't think they do anything special for birthdays. Just take your daughter out there for a good time. If she is young i suggest you take her to Universal and not Isalnds of Adventure. At IOA the only thing youngin's can pretty much do is Seuss Landing. Universal she can meet Spongebob, Scooby-Doo, Jimmy Neutron, shrek, Donkey, Madagascar characters and much much more.....
And enjoy your stay down here next year

Thank's and she is going to be 7 in January... but she kind of likes rides like big thunder mountain, Dinosaurs, Soarin, and all the kiddy stuff too... ha! ha! she is more daring than my 10 yrs old ha! ha!

You can book a character meal and celebrate there. The hotels each have one on certain nights and IOA has a breakfast. If you tell them ahead of time that its her birthday they will sing and bring her a dessert or you can prepay for a cake.

Wow Thank's a lot... what help.. I can't wait to see US and IOA :woohoo:

I took my nephew on his 7th birthday and he wore one of those It's My Birthday type headbands and I made a Tshirt that said Happy Birthday to Me with a photo of his big smiley face.

He got lots of "Happy Birthday buddy"s from the characters and got picked for a few of the audience participation things. He even got picked to be slimed at the Nick game lab (they told me after that he was picked because I didn't ask them to pick him ahead of time just because it was his birthday).
