I'm trying to finalize my fast approaching ADRs and we want to eat dinner in the World Showcase on our Epcot day.
We (we being myself, hubby, my mom, and our then 2 year old) were originally going to choose Via Napoli but we love regular disney pizza and LOVE Wolfgang Puck Express spaghetti and will definitely be getting both. Do we really need more italian food?

What is the best place for us to have dinner in the world showcase?

If you're looking for Table Service, yes Biergarten is wonderful.....and a 2year old should enjoy the lively music.....and can even go to the dance floor and dance if they want. It is noisy to kids aren't as easily noticed if they get a little squealy.

If you're looking for a Counter Service dinner, we love Tangierine Cafe (Morroco).....excellent food, good (Disney) price. Bright colors to entertain the little one.

I think Biergarten is a good idea. It is just not something you find available in most places like you can Italian food or a Wolfgang Puck restaurant.

I'm following along. We have 2 nights in WS. We are definitely doing Via Napoli on one of them. I'm considering Rose and Crown or Tokyo Dining for our other one. Tutto Italia is out since we are doing VN. Nothing in Mexico or China interests me since we can get good Mexican and Chinese at home. Akershus we are doing for breakfast. Biergarten doesn't really excite me - we have a great German place in our city that we go to about once a month, plus I'm just not sure I like the whole table sharing thing? Marakesh/Spice Road Table looked good to me, but I'm thinking we'll get food from Tangerine Cafe for lunch, so no. Le Cellier is out since I don't want to spend 2 credits. Chefs de France doesn't excite me. So, Rose and Crown or one of the Japanese places are about what's left! I'm interested to hear what other people love in WS!

We also loved Biergarten. The food was great and it felt like an event. So fun. Rose and Crown is another favorite.

I also say...Biergarten ..your little one will love the music and the atmosphere...food is good for all ages...we went in May and had a great time as usual

Is the buffet at Biergarten mostly just sausages and things like that for dinner? We really don't like that kind of food. I always read great things about the atmosphere but the style of food worries me

Here's the buffet menu (as of 5/15):

Oktoberfest Buffet - Beet Salad, Cabbage Salad, Macaroni Salad, Potato Salad, Tomato Salad, Wurst Salad, Seasonal Salad, Macaroni & Cheese, Meat Platter, Roasted Pork, Beef Rouladen, Bratwurst, Pork Schnitzel, White Fish, Rotisserie Chicken, Sauerbraten, Spätzle, German Sausages, Meatballs, Roasted Potatoes, Seasonal Vegetables, Potato Dumplings, Sauerkraut, Red Cabbage, Fresh Fruit, Apple Strudel, Vanilla Pudding, Bavarian Cheesecake, Seasonal Dessert, Black Forest Cake

I agree with PPs. Biergarten for TS and Tangierine Cafe if you're looking for QS. For snacks I go to Boulangerie or Kringla.

I agree. Biergarten is so much fun. I am always so happy in there. The buffet has tons of options. My six year old niece loved the pretzel bread and cheese and all the fruit and the chicken. You can load up on whatever you like. Kids can dance and enjoy the show. Nice and cool. It's hard to get me out of there!

when you have little disney peeps...it was our thing to do buffets..so the kids didnt have to sit to long before being served their meals...kids sometimes gets antsy...

Do Biergarten or Tutto Italia. They are both good and very special restaurants. See my signature at the bottom for ranks and reviews of EP restaurants.

In order for us:

1.) Monseiur Paul
2.) Via Napoli
3.) La Hacienda
4.) Chefs de France

High end: Monseiur Paul
Moderate Sit down: Chefs de France
Quick-ish: Tangerine Cafe

Never had a horrible meal at any country so far, however the level of food (and price) varies substantially.
