Best Western Plus Anaheim Inn Info?

I am specifically wondering about the 1 King/2 Queen rooms.

Is the separate room with the King? Or the 2 Queens? I assume the door to the separate room is located directly across from the bathroom door, with the vanity area in between them. It is kind of hard to tell in some of the pictures, and some of the pictures for the same room type seem to contradict each other.

It looks like there are 2 buildings. Is this room type located in just one of the buildings? We were hoping to be in the building closest to Harbor. That looks like a long walk back to the end of the second building.

Have they started up their hot breakfast again?

Any other info would be welcome! Thanks!

I've only stayed at this hotel once in February 2020 (have reservations for next year already), but we LOVED it. There are two buildings there (we were in the 2nd one). The hotel is not that large, so the walk to Harbor is not that bad anywhere you would stay there, imo. Proximity to the Esplanade is fabulous. Our room (2 Queens) was one big room with the toilet and shower behind a door, but the rooms may vary.

The breakfast is amazing, but I'm not sure how it works currently.

If you guys have any other questions, I'd be happy to attempt to answer. I find this hotel to be a bit of a "hidden gem".

Oooh I may have to try this one next time. I have somehow overlooked it as an option.

The Best Western Park Place Inn overshadows it in hotel talk as it's right there, too, but we seriously loved it.

Yes, I hear so much more about the other BW closer to the crosswalk. (I have stayed there and enjoyed it.) I really like the idea of the room set up I have reserved at this one. From what I can tell in my searching for dates available, this room type is rarely available. I will hold the reservation for now, at least. Hoping the breakfast returns soon.

I had the 1 king/2 queen booked for last December, but obviously didn't end up staying. The staff told me there are 4 of these suites, 2 in each building. They also said the sofa is a pull out. This video might help you understand the layout.

Thank you! This was very helpful. The description of the room I booked made no mention of that sitting area with the pullout. It just said 1 King/2 Queens. I went back to the website and found one of those virtual walk-throughs that also showed the sitting area. Missed that earlier. I just wish the bathroom area was part of the 2 Queen room instead of the King room. I wanted the king room to be my daughter's napping area, closed off from everything/everyone else.

We stayed at the BW Park Place Inn before and will be staying there again in a week's time and I can confirm, it is pretty much "at the crosswalk". It's confusing that the Best Westerns near the park have similar names, mainly because the first three words are all the same, "Best Western Plus..." So make sure you check photos and address to be certain the one you're booking is the one you want. When available I always choose Best Westerns on a road trip for their value.

Does anyone know if luggage storage is still available at BW Anaheim? Looking at an early morning flight...

I just called and asked about luggage storage. They do hold luggage before check in and after checkout.

And if anyone reads this at a later date and is wondering about the 1 King/2 Queen Suite, the one I have reserved apparently isn't like the one posted in the video above, or like the suite in the 1 King/ 2 Queen pictures on the website. The person I talked to at the front desk said you walk into the King room, then the 2 Queen room is off in a separate bedroom with the bathroom area (plus a tub). There is also no sitting area with a pullout. So - much different than the floorplan pictured on the website.

ETA: After another phone call I learned that hot items have returned to the breakfast, the pool is now open, and there are only 4 suites in the hotel. Each suite is different. That would explain why the pictures on the website under the 1 King/2 Queen listing look like they are taken in different rooms. Only one of the suites has the living area with the pull out sofa. At least one of the suites doesn't have a King bed at all -- it has 3 Queens.
