Who do you think has the best seafood at Disney Springs? Looking for that fresh seafood we can't get here at home in Kansas.

Haven't eaten much seafood at DS, but the chowder at Raglan Road is delicious!

Boathouse was an excellent choice. I haven't tried multiple seafood restaurants to know if it's the best, but the lobster roll and raw bar offerings are very good and fresh. The crab cake was also on point. We chose this spot based on the great photos. It's definitely a pricier restaurant but a great experience. Would go back.

Boathouse is your best bet. We had the Shrimp & Sausage Mac n Cheese and Coconut Shrimp. Both were great. They had multiple fish entrees . They seem to get better reviews than Paddlefish. Which is the other seafood restaurant in DS.

Two seafood-centric restaurants in Disney Springs are: Boathouse & Paddlefish.

Boathouse is more hectic & noisy, but seems to get the better reviews. We were not impressed, but will likely return, since....

our food experience at Paddlefish was marginally-worse than Boathouse.

But if you're from a seafood deprived place (I live in the mountains), then trying both places makes sense (and is what we did).

Two other things:
a.) sitting atop Paddlefish was very relaxing, despite the mediocre food we sampled. Oysters & Cocktails!!
b.) BlueZoo is a better restaurant than both Boathouse & Paddlefish, but it is a bit 'exotic' for some palates (and remains our favorite place for whole grilled fish).

Sigh... All personal opinion - I'm not necessarily right, no one else is necessarily wrong.

Go to Shula's. MANY folks do not realize that Shula's also serves stunning LOBSTER.
Not a shellfish person? Flying Fish.

The major problem with every DS Restaurant that we have personally observed...

1) Big HEADLINE name.
2) STUNNING Buildings.
3) No FOOD. All "Headline", with tourist menus :(.

We really wish that DS HAD really good Restaurants. Personal observation is that they have great BUILDINGS. Waiting for great FOOD to appear :(.

Paddlefish. We had lunch here in October and loved it. DH & DS has “ boils” that were delicious and HUGE. I had the Lobster Roll and I loved it

If your limited to Disney Springs, Boathouse is your best choice in my opinion. If you want the best seafood at WDW, then Blue Zoo is where you want to be.

We loved the quality of the seafood @ Boathouse with the exception of the house sourced raw oysters which were quite meaty but too briny in taste for us. Next time we'll order oysters from the day's sourced menu instead. Did love the sauces that came with them which were: cucumber mignonette (divine IMO but the man didn't care for it and prefers the classic recipe), a red sauce and I think a horseradish version which I wish used fresh horseradish but still was gobbled up.

If you are in the neighborhood, Flying Fish is wonderful. We ate there twice this trip. Once with an ADR and the second time just because we enjoyed it that much.
Haven't tried Paddlefish yet but Cape May Cafe gave us no joy. Lots in the way of a quantity of over cooked, over salted crab legs with little else in the way of seasoning. We paid our bill and walked out in search for an edible meal.

I'll give BlueZoo a whirl next trip. We were on the DDP this time and it wasn't included.

Agree with others that if you are limiting it to DS, Boathouse is your best bet. They have a huge menu and tons of seafood options. If you're willing to look outside of the DS springs area, Flying Fish and Narcoossee's are our favorites. The latter has some of the best shrimp pasta and scallop dishes I've ever had. I rarely eat the same dish twice, but the food at Narcoosee's is so good I'm willing to make an exception. Flying fish is top tier too, I just find their menu a little limited.

Thanks for all of the opinions, everyone. I forgot about Narcoosee's & I always have heard that place has really good seafood. For Disney Springs it sounds like Boathouse. Who else thinks there ought to be a welcome station somewhere at Disney Springs where you can just grab a shrimp cocktail & a ceviche, along with "an umbrella drink" as my mom says? Seafooding should never be this hard. Decisions, decisions. Oh well we'll probably end up with a burger. LOL
