So, it has been a while (9 years) since we were last at DW. I used to consider myself very knowledgeable and could easily contribute to the majority of forum questions. But I know how things change (and menus change). We used to always do table service meals everyday of our trip, but this time we will be participating in the counter service side of DDP. All four of our attendees will be considered adults, but one of those is a 14-year-old and one will be a 20-year-old. I am looking for more recent recommendations for locations, specific meals, or snack options in the parks. Basically, where or what did you love. Feel free if you highly regard something at a resort or at DS to include those as well, though we rarely venture out to other resorts just for dining. Due to rising costs and limited funds we are staying at All Star Music. We will be on site early August. Thank you in advance.

Last couple of trips (Adult DS & I) I've made it a challenge to eat all QS and each meal $25 total. We've done pretty well.

AK ~ Satuli' Canteen and we get 2 Kid's Meals ~ Large hot dog wrapped in dough. I NEVER buy hot dogs out but this meal is a value, good & filling. It comes with homemade chips and a fruit. Includes small bottle of water which we take with us. I also get a coke and since they have refillable machines we share.

EPCOT - Regal Eagle we love going to. Kids meals are huge. DS got a Cheeseburger, Fries and Coleslaw. I got the Salad with Chicken and it came with two sides too, I got fries and garlic bread. Again we got bottled water and since it is refillable soda we shared a coke. The salad was really good and this was so filling.

Many places the adult sized meals are big enough to split with an extra side.

For us getting the kids meals or sharing leaves budget for snacks if we want.

NOTE: We do not eat in the food courts at the hotels, their food is mediocre and over priced. I find more value in the theme parks.

It is possible you might get a list of every single quick service on property since everyone's taste is so subjective! Being an August traveler for many years now A/C will be at a premium so stands/kiosks and places with outdoor seating range towards the bottom of the list. Our favorites are:
AK: Satuli Canteen - Bowls for the adults and cheeseburger pods for the kids. Great options that trick you into thinking you are eating healthy!
EP: Regal Eagle- for the first time in forever the Food in the American pavilion is worth not skipping (Adults like the aesthetic of Katsura Grill in Japan, but it is tough to have hot broth in August when we often go)
HS: Ronto roasters- we love the breakfast ronto wrap and the regular ronto wrap was good as well- closes early so Docking bay 7 can get you the wrap after 3 in the afternoon (as well as the much needed AC)
MK: This is tough in general- We are split between Pecos Bill and Columbia Harbor House- we really just want food and A/C so this checks those boxes off, however -
Captain Cooks at the Poly - we will often leave the MK for a resort and the best Quick Serve at a Hotel we think is Captain Cooks - especially the Thai coconut meatballs - added perk walking out to Pineapple Lanai and grabbing a Dole Whip for dessert
Disney Springs - Either Chicken Guy or Dluxe burger: Chicken guy tenders are great (especially with the sauces) and my wife says their salads are great. Dluxe is not earthshattering but is better than most burgers you can get on property and has the benefits again of A/C and lots of sauces to dip your fries (be careful as the french fry orders are huge and easily shareable). Shout out to the Polite pig as well!

And thank you for the pics. They are very helpful.

For me, my favorites are:

MK: Columbia Harbor House, though there are so few decent choices at MK.
EP: There is so much here, so it might depend - a generally good choice is Sunshine Seasons though.
HS: ABC Comissary or Ronto Roasters (limited menu at the latter but they are good)
AK: Satu'Li Canteen - and this one is the champion of all of them!

MK - Columbia Harbour House or Pecos Bill

EC - Boulangerie Pâtisserie & L’Artisan des Glaces in France - quiche or sandwiches in one and yummy ice cream in the other. Also Yorkshire fish and chips. But there are a lot of other great options.
I was waiting for someone to mention the Patisserie at Epcot France! Its probably the best QS in any of the parks.

As for the others, at MK I also go with Harbor House (RIP hush puppies 😭), at HS my family loves Docking Bay 7, and we don't do much quick serve at AK, but I always remind people not to overlook the Mr. Kamals stand in the Asia area (near the transition to Africa). It has awesome seasoned fries. Wait, I hate lines. Kamals stinks! Nobody should go there! Especially when I am in the park

AK: Satuli Canteen - the bowls are one of the best things on property.
HS: Docking Bay 7 - I like the ribs with slaw and blueberry corn muffin.
Epcot: It's not very adventurous but we enjoyed connections last time we went, November 22.
MK: Columbia Harbor House or Pecos Bills, probably in that order because we can get good Tex Mex at home. Like someone else said, though, we mostly want to sit, eat, and get in the AC for a little bit. It is not a QS but we have historically preferred Sleepy Hollow even with the lack of AC but with the new changes we are very skeptical about what was an old favorite for our next trip.

AK - Flame Tree

HS - Commissary

Oooh yes, we love the Yorkshire Fish & Chips! MK is definitely the hardest to find decent QS. We used to just get a big order of chicken strips from Chicken Guy at the beginning of our trip and pack it in Ziplocs for lunch in the park 🤣

HS- ABC Commisary. We love the atmosphere. Nice to get out of the heat even when we go in the spring. We find it to be quite comfortable and relaxing. To us it has the feel of table service. While the food isn’t out of this world, it is good.

MK- Cosmic Rays. There are better options for a tasty meal, but similar to ABC we like the atmosphere. Not as laid back or comfortable as ABC though. We find Sonny Eclipse funny and enjoy the music. If we were basing it just off the food I’d rather Columbia harbor house or pecos bills depending on what I was in the mood for.

Epcot- a lot of options here. I’d personally say Regal eagle, my parents would say Yorkshire fish (I don’t really care for fish). Had a mix of things at Regal and enjoyed it all. Nice that it’s fresh smoked meat.

AK- only have eaten at satu’li and restaurantasarous and enjoyed them both. Satu’li id say is better just because it’s different than what you get at most other quick service and leans more towards table service food.

MK Columbia harbour House, but it has lost some of our favorites. Pecos Bill is our back up.
AK - Satu'Li best at WDW. Flame Tree if you are really hungry.
HS - Docking Bay 7
EPCOT - Yorkshire Fish and chips or Katsura. Have not tried Regal Eagle yet.

copying your suggestions in to my trip notes, thanks!

In my opinion...

EP: Les Halles
AK: Satuli Canteen
MK: Columbia Harbor House
DHS: ABC Commissary

This doesn't mean I like to eat at these places regularly. The only one I like to go to is Les Halles. The others are my go-to if I don't have a table service reservation.
