Hello everyone, just wondering what moderate resort has the best restaurant & food court? Theme, food, service, who's got the best? We could eat just about anything so all opinions are welcome. :goodvibes

We stayed at POR....I wasn't all that impressed - especially w/ the food court and theming and pool.

Although we are staying Poly next time, if we were staying moderate, I would try Coronado Springs Resort. The theming looks appealing along w/ the pool and food court.

I am going to suggest Coronado Springs, but then again I haven't stayed at any other moderate resort. There food court had a large variety and the main pool was AWESOME!! My little princesses loved it and wouldn't leave :woohoo: I'm sure all moderate resorts are wonderful but I was pulled in by the looks of the Coronado and felt really at home there. I hope that wherever you choose you'll have a fanastic time:goodvibes

We love CSR! It is our favorite moderate all the way around. We stay there for the excellent bus transportation and the Dig Site pool area alone!

I've only done moderate restaurants for breakfast, but loved both at the Maya Grill and Boatswrights.

Coronado has the best food court, but POR/POFQ's Boatwright's restaurant is great for breakfast. I did like my stay at Coronado a bit more. I liked the pool and the theme better than POFQ/POR and Caribbean Beach.

CSR, both the sit down restaurant (dinner) and food court (all 3 meals) is great. We love it there.

CSR! The Maya Grill and the Pepper Market are great places to eat. Where else can you get a rib eye steak or prime rib for a CS credit.

At POR, Boatwrights has very good meals. Comfort foods mostly. Breakfast was very good.

We always stay at POR and enjoy the food court. We start our day off at the food court actually. We aren't to impressed with Boatrights though.

The Pepper Market has some of the best food of any food court at any hotel on the site. It also has the prices to match. And when you hit something there that is not so good or not up to the standards of everything else there or isn't any better than what you can get cheaper elsewhere, it can be a bitter disappointment if you're paying out of pocket. If you're on the meal plan, it's a great value for a counter service credit and if you get something that isn't quite up to the rest, well it's not too bitter a pill to swallow.
If you know what to order, Maya Grill can match or exceed some of the deluxe restaurants. However, if you don't, it also can be disappointing if you pay out of pocket. The ribs were pretty much of the same variety you could get at any chain place. The Fish was done perfectly for the style. It's just not a style most Americans prefer. It had a dry rub on it that was flavorful, but it was finished a bit too well done for most palates. If you like it that way (and certainly some do,) you'll love it. On the plus side, we got the best fillets on property there and the duck was wonderful. It will be too spicy for those that don't like spice though. Of the appetizers the seafood skillet was one of the better ones on the property. The Seafood Margarita, however, was a victim of looking spectacular on paper.

We have eaten at Boatwrights several times and always enjoyed it. :)

I agree Boatwrights has a very good breakfast :)

I would have to say that the Pepper Market at CS is the best food court of the moderates. I've stayed at all of them.

Wow! Looks like CSR is a great resort for eating too! Most people seemed to vote for it. Now, out of sheer curiosity, what Deluxe Resort do you guys think has the best food court/Restaurants?

There's a very small possibility that I may stay in one, I'm just curious. :thanks:

I love Boatwright's for breakfast. I get the sweet potato pancakes with maple syrup and pecans. Comes with bacon or sausage. If you get coffee, they give you an entire carafe.

It is to die for.
