Best day for EPCOT Food and Wine Festival

I would always choose a weekday over the weekend. Once we had no choice as we were on a quick, hastily-planned three-day trip. We were there on a Sunday and it was very, very busy. We had a great time, but there were waits for everything. It was also a Dapper Day event, so that added to the festivities and fun (and….people 
). The weather was glorious (late April) and that helped too.
We recently returned from a mid-September trip and attending mid-week was much more pleasant. It was easier to walk around, the lines were much shorter, and in general the experience wasn’t quite as tiring.
