Beach Club Renovations now through June 2025

Sorry if this is a repetitive question - I did a fairly quick search/scan and didn't find a ton of info. So, what are the details of the Beach Club renovations happening now through June?

I've seen that the main pool is closed (Stormalong Bay/Shipwreck pool), but that there are 3 other smaller leisure pools that will be open. What else is being renovated?

There are no more specific details on the renovations at the BC other than the SAB work and the related areas of the BC through June, 2025. This is to the pool interior, and the concrete aprons and general pool related areas.

There is exterior work currently ongoing on the roof, wood siding, and other exterior / interior areas at the YC.

Sorry, no. There are several other pools at Yacht & Beach they can use.

Like 3-4 years ago, I would say that was probably 75%. With the 25% who did know beforehand most likely all found out here on the DIS. The last couple years, you can't miss the banner announcing major closures on the resort webpage when you are looking/pricing/booking.

This closure was announced more than a year ago. So it’s not really on Disney that people aren’t informed about the closure. I’m sure there are people who book expecting things to be open but that’s really on them at that point given the notice on the booking page. And I can’t imagine a TA not informing them if booking that route

Very low. I think this specific closure was announced before bookings were even open.

It appears to be working well so far. They have a lower occupancy which is helping with the YC refurb and as an added bonus gave them space to move people from POFQ when the POFQ remodel went late.

Fair point, but wasn’t a ton of time. The one month extension from May 2025 to June 2025 came out 3/7/2024. 2025 U.S. bookings (through 10/31/2025) opened 2/27/2024.
