Please. I need to feed a crowd and would love a recipe that you actually love.. vs one I just randomly find on the internet.

Thanks.

It's not beef but I simply drop a nice sized Pork Boston Butt in the crock pot on high with a bottle of barbecue sauce (I like Sticky Fingers' Carolina sweet sauce). Cook about 7 hours, then take it out of that watery mess, shred with two forks and top with fresh BBQ sauce. I stick mine in the warming drawer for a little while, then pull out when we're ready and enjoy with potato salad or Cole slaw. I have also found a way for quick potato salad. I simply cooked a bag of the Ore Ida steam & mash potatoes, added my onion, green pepper and celery (pre cut trinity mix in the produce at Publix), mustard, mayo, salt pepper and sweet pickle relish. I"m sure the beef would work well too, maybe a shoulder roast?

I make BBQ beef in my crockpot all the time!

Get a very cheap beef roast. Put it in the crock pot and dump a can of beer on top. Cook it overnight. In the morning, dump out the liquid, shred the beef with two forks, and dump a jar of BBQ sauce on top. Keep warm or cook on low for a few more hours.

This is so tender and really doesn't taste like beer at all. Freezes very well!

I just put my meat in the crock pot, cover it with BBQ sauce and cook it all day. Shred it and cover it with more sauce. That's it, super quick and easy and best of all, my super picky kids love it!!

I have one that my family just loves. I get a big roast (it can be cheap) pour 1/2 a bottle of liquid smoke over it and 2 bay leaves. Let it cook all day. At dinner remove bay leaves and you have an indoor deep pit bbq roast. It falls apart as soon as you touch it. I top it with salsa but DH tops it with bbq sauce. It is delish and everyone will think you slaved all day.

Here's my favorite.

Rub a chuck roast with fahita seasoning (at least a tablespoon or two), salt and pepper. Put it in the crockpot with two cans of stewed tomatoes (You can use the mexican ones if you want to) mixed with 2 cups water. After it's done cooking you shred it and put it back in the crockpot with the sauce. I usually thicken it a bit with some flour mixed with water before adding back the beef. Serve over rice. It's delicious.

If you like pulled pork, you can't go wrong with this.

McCormick's Barbecue Pork Seasoning Packet
Center cut pork roast....or cheaper cut of pork if you'd like. Mix up the seasoning packet and cook all day.
People rave about this when I make it and I laugh. If they only knew....

For BBQ beef in the crock pot I use the Beef, a very large oinin chopped and a can of coke (not diet and not pepsi). I add the half the can of coke, half of the onion then the brisket, other half of the onion and other half of the can of coke. Low all day to cook. Drain the coke and fat, add one or two bottles of BBQ--I use Sweet Baby Ray's to the shredded beef and reheat on low for about 30 minutes then serve. The acid in the coke tenderizes the meat (just an FYI, but they marinate the steaks at the Brown Derby in coke before they cook them as well).

My BBQ pulled pork is pretty much the same, but I use a can of gingerale (again not diet).

I throw in a package of stew meat (any size) and pour at least a half bottle of barbeque sauce over it. Let it stew all day in the crock pot. When you are ready to eat it, break it up with a fork and pile it on the bun. Easy and good.

english roast in the crock pot covered with water and worstchire sauce (2 tblspns). Cook until I can shred it. Ketchup, mustard, onion, worstchire sauce, vineger, brown sugar. Mix it all together and let cook til onion is soft. Serve on onion rolls!!!!!!!!!Yummo!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys great recipes.

Question for those who use pork. Do you add any extra water? I think I'm going to try one, this sunday.

I use a cheap roast like boston butt, rub it with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Put in the crockpot and cover it with root beer and let it cook overnight on low. Then I drain it, shred it, and put it back in the crock with favorite bbq sauce and cook on low until ready to eat. It is super good and easy.

No water with the pork. As itis it'll be pretty greasy and watery, that's why I remove the meat from the crock of greasy juice and discard the juice.
