I am hooked on Bahama Mamas now. :drinking1

I tried looking up the recipe, but I keep getting some concoction with Kahlua in it. That doesn't seem right to me.

Does anyone have the recipe or know where I can get it so it more closely resembles the one I had on board? :confused3

TIA! :thumbsup2

I got this a while ago from Allearsnet, tasted exactly like it:

Ingredients

1/2 oz white rum
1/2 oz Meyers rum
1/2 oz creme de banana
1/2 oz malibu rum
2 oz orange juice
2 oz pineapple juice
dash of grenadine

Each of the Rums are different, but you really need the meyers and the malibu or the drink won't be close. The white rum you probably could get away with eliminating. Might not be as good, but will be close. They were outstanding on the ship. I loved the Bahama Mama's too. The recipe above is the one from the ship. I went to the mixology class and have the recipe from it. happy mixing:drinking1

Another drink that is very good and easier to make is Pinapple Rum with Pineapple/Orange/Banana juice. Just mix & drink. :thumbsup2

Not a Bahama Mama, but just as good, IMO.

Thanks! :thumbsup2

I also got the recipe for the Konk Kooler from the Cooking with Mickey book. I made those last night, but I blended the ice with it instead of just shaking it. :cool1:
