Are you a good or bad swimmer?

Better than most. I've done a couple of triathlons, but much worse than most of the people you see swimming laps at the pool.

I'd say...average. Well, I used to be average, I guess. These days I'm so out of shape that I can't swim for very long at all. We do want to get a swim spa for exercise purposes so I'd love to be able to get better at it again.

I'm decent. Not as good as I was when I was young. I was a competitive swimmer from 3rd grade all through high school. I am 30 years out of school and don't swim often but I can hold my own. Made sure all my kids learned to swim starting as toddlers. We spent a lot of time at the pool when they were growing up.

I am a "River Swimmer"... found that out in college pool.. which makes sense after years in Oregon rivers and resivors

Decent, grew up with an in ground pool, summers at the grandparents shore house, tons of lessons, my kids all learned their strokes and one still lifeguards.

Good swimmer. Older and don’t have the stamina I used to; still have plenty of experience in pools, oceans and lakes to draw from. We started the kids at pre-school age for swimming lessons. Encouraged them to enjoy swimming in all types of water. Good for the soul and practical life skill.

I was a pretty good swimmer back in the day - still pretty good but no stamina - I swam on a synchronized swim team back in HS and played water polo in college - well actually inner tube water polo - it was a lot of fun!

I'd say good, although I've never had any formal lessons or anything. Grew up on a boat, and then had a pool so was around water all the time. Can't recall a time I couldn't swim.
Did a triathlon once, not sure what you could call my swimming method  but I finished!

I'd say decent. I used to swim laps for about an hour straight alternating between freestyle and breast stroke. I use my gym's indoor pool about 3X/week, but mostly to cool down between intense sauna sessions and not to swim.

I can swim well but am not a good "swimmer" in the sense I have not learned official strokes or swam competitively. I absolutely love the water.

I never learned to swim and have nearly drowned three times in my life. These days I stay away from bodies of water and will not even go near a swimming pool.

Good. I’m fortunate to have been in swim lessons consistently from birth to age 7. My dad was a swim instructor and my grandparents had a pool.

My kids…. Poor to mid. We didn’t have reliable access to a pool where we lived, and lessons were super expensive (like $300 for 5 30 minute sessions). Just when we could afford it Covid hit. Never got our lessons and were out the money.

Terrible, can't tread water, never go in the deep end/if I can't touch bottom. can swim from one side to another, sort of swimming/doggie paddling.
