Know which areas you prefer to help narrow down your search. Relatives list their beach place (not in FL) on VRBO and have been very pleased with how it all works. VRBO is very reputable and provides them the opportunity to reach a larger audience compared to other methods. VRBO places are individual houses/condo/etc. where with AIRBNB you might only be renting a portion of someone's house. Some renters will complain and nit-pick about everything, but you can get a general sense of a property by reading what several reviewers have said.
