Any Tricks For Getting Last Minute DCA Preview Passes??

I just got good news/bad news. My employer is sending me at the last minute to a conference at a DL Hotel. Means there's no way to order preview passes of course. I have 1/31 free to go to the park. Anybody have any brilliant, sneaky or creative ideas about how to find the 1 magic ticket that day?

If not its DL instead...I'll live.

I just saw tickets on an auction site. You might try there if you are willing to pay the price.

We stayed at the Grand Californian this past weekend and were able to get tickets in to DCA. Apparently, if you are staying at one of the Disney Hotels and have a purchased ticket in to Disneyland they will give you a ticket in to DCA OR if you are staying at a Disney Hotel and have an annual pass to Disneyland you can buy a ticket in to DCA for $20. These tickets expire on 2/2/01.

We are staying at the Grand Californian this weekend and figured we were out of luck on getting tickets to DCA - we'll check into buying them at the hotel!

I hope that's true. The cro at Paradise Pier told me they were sold out. I think I'll try again. So far the auction boards haven't had the time frame I need available. Anyone know if there is some scalping going on near the gate?

I'm still wondering if any of you who have been to DCA have noticed any low key scalping going on somewhere.

So far I haven't found anything on auction boards or through the hotel for the time I have available, e.g. either 1/31 or 2/1.

Hey Bert...

I was in the same situation as you, trying to get tickets to a preview day at the last minute and was able to. I found an auction you might be interested in that has 4 tickets to the preview on Feb. 1st from 2pm-Midnight. I am not sure about the # of tickets you are looking for but this is the only auction I've seen for either of the dates you posted. As I am not sure about the rules concerning posting auction links on this page, please e-mail me if you'd like to know where to find this auction.

Just spoke with a Guest Services cm at PP. Apparently resort guests CAN purchase up to 5 preview passes at $20.
