any really unique valentine snack ideas for school party?

anyone do something reallt cool for a Valentine snack...I always feel such pressure as my girls want to bring in something that the other kids will really like...no cheese cut into hearts will do for them??? Any creative people out there

I was just reading the latest Woman's Day and they had a neat idea. You get a pound cake and cut it in half horizontally, so you get two layers. You then take a small, heart-shaped cookie cutter and cut out little cake hearts. They you frost and decorate each little heart uniquely. They kind of look like little petit fours. But, you need to be good a decorating small things.

i'm making chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate dunked pretzel rods for my sons 4th grade class this year

I'm also making chocolate covered strawberries and my mom's best sugar cookies in the shape of hearts, iced with red icing with a small heart shaped cookie with sprinkles on the top. Looks like I'll be baking all day on Sunday.

How about Rice Krispy treats cut into heart shapes with red icing, M&Ms for eyes, and a skinny piece of red licorice for a smile?

This doesn't have the wow factor, but I always bring something "savory" to the parties because everyone else brings sweets. I keep it easy and do bagel bites or mini corn dogs. They're always eaten.
