need threads on tina edmonds rv rentals

Not sure what you are asking???? Tina still rents RVs at the Fort and comes very highly recommended. Never heard a negative complaint from anyone who rented from her!!! She will deliver the RV to the site and completely set it up for you. All you have to do is check-in and then go have fun.

She's doing a good job as rapriebe said. I know folks who have a future ressie with her and she's very helpful.

No problems.

We rented from Camp at the Fort, and it worked out really well. The unit was set up and ready for us when we arrived. We were in the 1600 Loop which was a great location for walking to the Meadows Pool/Trading Post, and the Christmas decorations were awesome!! But I digress...

We originally reserved a different unit than the one we ended up with, but I don't know if it really made any difference. The Wildcat was great for our family. Kids loved the bunk room, and the Queen bed was super comfy -- topped with a memory foam mattress pad which I am missing right now!!

Dining and kitchen area was relatively spacious. Fully stocked with sheets, towels, beach towels, blankets, camp chairs, pots, pans, dishes, etc. Full size coffee maker. Toaster. Crock Pot.

All in all, we loved it. If you have specific questions, please PM me. As I said, we were just there (12/5 to 12/16) so everything is fresh in my mind!!

I have made a reservation with Tina Edmonds RV rental. I have visited the web site and it looks like a great setup.

however,

I have a concern about if this company is legitimate:
1. Address on web site when looked up on Google maps does not seem correct
2. When I call the phone number I only get voice mail
3. Voice mail does not identify itself only repeats the number
4. Invoice that was emailed to me was for the wrong year.

I want to believe this is a legitimate company but I cannot find anyone who has actully rented from them. Do you have any knowledge and or references you can direct me to?

Thanks for your help

Yes Tina is legitimate, lots of people have posted reviews of her company and website. If you review the post previous to your's, they just rented from Tina - her company name is Camp at the Fort. Suggest you google that name and you will get up-to-date info on her.

The RV (Wildcat 5th wheel) was large, luxurious and spacious with 3 pop-outs. Everything is furnished and I have no complaints about the RV, it's very nice and clean. It was setup well before we arrived and her husband called with campsite number right before we checked into Fort Wilderness.

On the other hand, Tina is hard to reach by phone, takes a week to answer emails, does not return phone calls, etc. Glad she is not planning my vacation as she is a certified travel agent.

I rented Nov 26-Dec, 2011 and am still waiting for a $250 deposit back. It's been exactly 3 months since we left Fort Wilderness.

I did not rent a golf cart through them.

Update... I did get my deposit back after talking to her husband Darrell and then Tina. Helpful to know she works nights and sleeps during the day so speaking to her live may be difficult, she had been sick a few days a couple weeks ago, also her emails sometimes go to Junk or Spam folders and their website has problems processing payments. She was able to refund my deposit in a couple minutes using my email address in PayPal. Her accounting system (Quickbooks) did have record of the payment, but it was logged incorrectly and marked as refunded. Tina said she is still getting used to the new online system and payments can only be processed manually after information is submitted online.

Thanks for your update. Just spoke with Tina a few minutes ago to set up a vacation late in the Fall. Sounds like a good deal and just about ready to book.

Thank you for the kind update. The issue was clearly my fault and I hope to resolve them soon! I think I have "growing pains"!

Im having the same problem. I had to cancel back on the beginning of May. I have sent 3 emails wondering where my deposit (and them some is). Have not received a response yet!

Tina please get up with me... I just want to cancel my trip and get my grandmother's deposit back. I have tried calling and emailing several times.

I am another who has been trying to cancel with no response from Tina or anyone else.

I emailed 5/9 and left voicemail 5/11 with no response to either.

I have emailed and left voicemail again today.

Working nights is no excuse for not responding to emails. It only takes a few minutes.

Sounds like bad business practices to me. :rolleyes2

My son and his family and my husband and I rented both RV's from Tina Edmonds RV Rentals the first week of April 2013. Due to the deaths of 2 family members, we had to cancel our trip. Tina assured us that she would refund the money but that it might take a while. Tina will not return my phone calls and has not responded to letters I sent her - I sent one by certified mail, so I know she received it. We are both out over $900 ($250 was for the refundable deposit). Tina was very nice when we called to reserve the RV's but it's obvious she is ignoring us now. We're very disappointed. I know other people have had a problem getting money back from her. If anyone has suggestions, I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Sherry

Sounds like if you're renting you have no problems. If you need to cancel you can't get your refund? I don't call that no problems.

I know folks personally who had the same issue as you (cancelling within the approved window and not getting the deposit back despite assurances). Some posters here IIRC had to get the Better Business Bureau involved to get a refund.

I'm in the process of trying to secure a camper for our March trip, and I am so thankful for this MB! According to the BBB, this rental company has an "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau, as the company has failed to respond to the customers and the BBB to resolve complaints. The most recent was this month! Thanks, but no thanks... back to searching! :thumbsup2
