Any idea how best to remove hairspray from tile floor and granite counter top!

Haven't had experience with this but HOT, HOT water comes to mind and/or sprinkling baking soda and then spraying vinegar on top. The chemical reaction lifts up everything!

Mr. Clean magic eraser, just make sure it won't take more off than what you want. Be careful on painted surfaces because it can take the paint off. I have semi gloss walls in my bathroom and it's what I use to get hair product off the wall.

Rubbing alcohol. Test it on an inconspicuous spot on the counter first and rinse it quickly.

Never use a magic eraser on stone counter tops.

It's fine on tile.

Can't you just soak it in water (put a wet washcloth on top for a while)? I don't use hairspray often, but I don't recall using anything other than water or maybe Windex to clean it up.

I would think shampoo? I use shampoo on my bathroom counters when I get hair dye on them!

I have had the same issue with my other half's hairspray. I didn't think of Bar Keeper's Friend. It's an amazing product!

In a bucket mix hot water, white vinegar, baking soda, a drop of Dawn dish soap and a little Borax. I use this on all my floors and in the bathroom it melts away all the hairspray. It smells good too. You may need to go over it with clear water to clean any residue the baking soda may leave.

Marble, granite, and stone do NOT like having acidic (ie: citrus-based) cleaners used on them. Citrus or vinegar will actually cause “etching” on granite countertops.
