I have been wearing my 1st pair of crocs for about 5 months now, & decided to get a couple extra pairs... but the 'feel' of them is different :confused3
the little bumps on the soles are prickly, kinda, and the sole is harder. since I can't remember what my crocs 1st felt like ( I thought they were soft),,is there a period of time these little nubies wear down , or something?

My experience--Crocs has a serious quality control problem. Every pair I try on feels different. Some have the little nubbies, some don't. They are hard, soft, and in between. The sizes are different too. I am a confirmed Crochead!! I ALWAYS try them on before buying. So buying off the internet is off limits. Some just feel right and some don't. I am not surprised that some people say that Crocs are not comfy, because some are just not made right! I have sent several emails, but never received a response. Good luck with your new Crocs--maybe they will get better!

I agree about diff crocs having a different feel. I have 3 pairs of Beach crocs. My first pair was black, about 6 months later I bought a pair of pink ones and about a month ago I bought a pair of blue ones. My pink ones have never been as comfy. I mean, for the first 30 minutes they feel the same, but my feet start hurting much quicker in them than in any of my other crocs. They just don't feel as cushy on the bottom.

That being said, and this may sound a little goofy, but are you sure you got real Crocs? Where did you buy them? The knock off ones always feel harder too me, which is why I never buy them. And the ones at Target look awfully close to Crocs, even the holes are round like regular crocs.

I ordered 2 pairs of the Caymans off of Shoebuy.com & they both felt the same & fit the same. I ordered my 3rd pair & have them on now. Again, they feel & fit the same.

I had ordered a pair for my dd's bf, this is his 2nd pair. We ordered him the same size, from Shoebuy but they are bigger than the ones he bought from Journey's in the mall :confused3 I guess since they are plasic it may have something to do with the way it molds when it is heated while they are being made?????
Or maybe different "molds" for different stores???

I have two pair and DH has one. Two were made in Canada and one pair was made in Colorado. They feel different, so I am assuming it's because they were made in different places.

yup real crocs.
the 1st pair I went IN to dicks sporting & bought a pair. last week I went on Dicks sporting website & ordered 2 pairs (from posts on this board about % off).
they are in crocs bags & have crocs buttons etc.
one thing that is different though,, my 1st pair has sizes 8-9 the other pairs are listed by only a single size! weird,, I had a heck of a time to figure out which size to order <ordered size 9> ( they are the same as the 8-9 ,, but weird they way they list the size) (all sets are caymens)

I just thought , maybe since I have broken them in over the past several months,, I might have forgotten how they 1st felt,, & wanted to check with you guys if that was the case & just to wait till they smooth out. :confused3

I believe that the Beach and Caymen both look the same, but one has single sizes and the other a size range.

The "nubs" do wear down a bit after a while (either that, or I get really used to them).
