ADR for magic kingdom restaurants before Christmas party

Just was wondering if you can book a table in the magic kingdom, at park close for regular guests if you don’t have a hard ticket for the party? Or do you get kicked out when regular hours end?

If you do not have a hard party ticket for MVMCP, you cannot make ADRs. ADRs for ALL MK restaurants end early on party nights for regular park guests.
They begin "the sweep" about 30 minutes prior to park close. So you cannot track back into other lands. You also may not buy anything from the stores after the party hours begin. They're become very strict these past several years after party guests complained.

Does anyone know what time the latest ADR you'd be able to make without a party ticket would be? 5:00 or something?

Even though I have a party ticket, the latest ressie I could find was 5pm.
Those 5pm ADRs are for the non party guests.
They probably have not yet released the times for the restaurants staying open for the party. You could try to call.
Good luck!

I believe last year the latest ADR was at 5:30. But that, like the weather in New England could change.
Each year there have been changes to how they control non party guests, including ADR times.

With the parks closing at 6 to non-party guests, I would guess that it would be 5:30 or earlier for reservations, and then you will be escorted out of the park once your meal is over

If you go to the regular dining reservation page for the restaurant you are interested in, you can input the date and you will be able to see the last available reservation time without party tickets.

I do not have party tickets, but was just able to book a Plaza reservation for 6:15pm on Nov 29th. I'm assuming since the system let me do it, we'll be fine. Would like to have a leisurely dinner and then see some of the Christmas party as we (slowly) make our way to the exit...

I wouldn't assume that. If you don't have a party wristband, you won't be allowed to stay in the park after 6pm.

Chances are very high that you'll be escorted out the "alternate" exit gate just to the east of The Plaza, and you won't see much/any of the party.

I talked with a CM who confirmed that we likely wouldn't be allowed to stay, even though the system allowed the reservation -- so bumped it up to earlier to eliminate the risk of frustration and disappointment.

Yes, my guess is that's probably the latest ADR.

Nope! I just made one for 6:10 pm at BOG! But I actually DO plan on buying a ticket for the XMAS Party, because why not? It's worth doing at least once on my stay, I did it the previous time I stayed in Disney during the holiday season and thought it was pretty cool.

That makes me nervous. I hope the 5:50 wasn’t a fluke. I would hate to think I have the ADR the whole time only to find out it’s not valid when we try to use it.

I think you'll be fine with 5:50. I'd probably arrive a few minutes early and check in early if you can.
