Do they have soap, a kitchen sponge, and paper towels? sorry this is out first DVC stay and I couldn't find the answer!

Yes, all DVC units have soap, a kitchen sponge, and paper towels. If you check out the member website, there is a list of everything provided, cleaning schedule, and other useful info.
