Disney’s Beach Club Gingerbread Carousel is Officially Here

The Beach Club gingerbread carousel is here! This year, the theme is “A Christmas Carol.”

True to its name, the sweet and stunning display tells the story of Mickey’s Christmas Carol through a gingerbread carousel!

Each horse in the display represents a different scene from the fan-favorite holiday film.

This story begins with Ebeneezer Scrooge acting as an unrepentant miser.

As you can see, money is all Scrooge cared about.

The second horse represents Joseph Marley (played by Goofy) and depicts the scene where the specter of Scrooge’s former business partner warns him to change his ways.

As you can see, the Yacht and Beach Club Bakery went to painstaking lengths to faithfully retell Mickey’s Christmas Carol.

To bring this gingerbread carousel to life, Disney bakery artisans used 432 pounds of honey, 1200 pounds of rye flour, 100 pounds of eggs, 200 pounds of icing, 200 gum paste flowers, and more! Here is the complete list of ingredients.

The Holidays are Coming to Disney Springs Nov. 10th

Disney Springs kicks off the holidays on November 10th with beautiful decor, delicious dining selections, and delightful shopping options!

Santa will be paying guests a visit at Once Upon a Toy.

The Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll will be on full display. There will be 19 Disney-themed trees throughout the Disney Springs district.
Hello! Does anyone have experience as to how long Disney Springs keeps their trees up? I've read varying reports online that DS decos stay up a week or two after NYE. Is this true...I know that the "tree stroll" is posted to end on December 30th. Any idea how long after this date might we catch a glimpse of some Christmas decorations/trees in DS?

Just a short trip around crescent lake, Disney’s BoardWalk Inn plays host to a miniature gingerbread version of its iconic and fan-favorite spots from the BoardWalk itself. The BoardWalk Deli Gingerbread House, starting November 12, is beautifully created with details that look just like the seaside escape, but just in a smaller and sweet form.
Hey guys! Keeping an eye on Boardwalk this morning, as their Gingerbread House will supposedly start taking shape today! 🙂

Anybody seeing any resort trees and other decor going up yet?

The gingerbread display is in the resort’s lobby. Smaller than other Walt Disney World gingerbread displays, it’s still an impressive recreation of the BoardWalk Deli not far from the hotel. It sits on a table surrounded by plants and ropes.

The other windows feature the silhouettes of Disney characters illuminated from behind. Pluto and Figaro are in the windows above the kitchen. The roof is lined with candy garlands and white icing.

The gingerbread pin features a cookie version of Donald wearing Santa-like apparel and holding a gift. Behind him is a gingerbread depiction of Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. The BoardWalk logo is in a circle of candy cane. The backing card resembles a white plate on a table, so the pin looks like cookies on the plate. It has a limited edition size of 2,500.

Ahh the anticipation is killing me! Can't wait to see if decorations go up at Pop or WL when we're there in the next few days. Based on the earlier start with trees this year, I'm thinking maybe all resorts will be decorated by the middle of next week.🤞🏼🤞🏼

We did luck out last year because POFQ decorations went up overnight the night before we left so we woke up our last day to a beautiful tree and decorations!! 😍
