Not my first choice, but DW really likes him. I took her to a Michael Buble/Straight No Chaser concert for Valentine's Day about 15 years ago. It was a very good concert. I like that he does a lot of the old standards. That's timeless music and I'm glad that someone popular is keeping it going...

I've had fresh water tropical aquariums twice--once when I was little and again several years ago. I had guppies, tetras, swordfish, catfish, etc. I love having an aquarium but hate the work to keep them going.

I didn't realize how good our college dining hall was until I was out on my own and having to buy the food, cook it and clean up after myself.

Love them, but at this point in my life when I fancy a donut I say, "Not today, Satan." :D

I tried to watch the remake of Breathless with Richard Gere and walked out. It was so boring.

On Saturday evenings we would all go to a local pizza place. Mom & Dad sat in one booth and we sat in another, and we could order whatever we wanted. It made us feel so grown up, even though they were in the booth right next to us.

DW retired and tried golf. To her surprise, she discovered she loved it (she's a big hitter!). She had me buy a set of used clubs and I'll go out with her on pitch and putt courses and try not to embarrass myself too badly. But I wouldn't say I'm a golfer, at least not yet.

Is there a reason why people don't install ad blockers on their computers/devices? I use them and never have these.

I missed 46 days of school in 1st grade, 24 in 2nd. I was tested for allergies and after I started taking shots my absences dropped to 3-4/school year.

I've been on 2 in 2012 and 2016 and enjoyed them both. But the prices are crazy high every time I check now, and I'd rather spend my $ elsewhere. YMMV.

There's no rule that says you have to travel in retirement. If it were me, we'd sell everything and travel full-time, like this couple and this one. DW wants a home base and to travel a couple of months/year, so we're still talking and thinking what we want the next 5-10 years to look like...

The totality is about 3 hours west of me, but I saw the most recent one that went through the U.S. so I'm not making any special efforts today.

A local place does a dip they call Guacamole Mario, which is just pico de gallo with avocado chunks, cilantro and a good bit of lime juice, but it sure pairs well with a Margarita on a hot summer day.
