Best way to save on Disney?

How was your experience renting points? We tried to rent points for the first time through DVC rental store and they were unable to meet our request for our trip in November. Did you use a different site?

Best way to save on Disney?

Depending on how often you go an annual pass could help. Our passes usually pay for themselves after all the hotel and dining discounts. (We usually do at least two separate week long trips and some long weekend trips if airfare is reasonable.)

    Job ideas?

I know, I was suspicious at first too. Its part of a larger corporate restructure and I’m not the only one affected though. Still not thrilled about it but I understand the direction they’re taking and trying to remain positive.

    Job ideas?

I just found out they’re eliminating my position when I return from maternity leave. Does anyone know any companies that hire remote employees for mid-level roles? Or any recruiters they would recommend working with?

    Disney with a baby

Did you rent a stroller or bring your own? Just curious if that had any effect on sleeping in the stroller!

    Disney with a baby

Thank you for the ideas and feedback! One more question, do you think it would be better to skip a standard hotel room and opt for a one bedroom villa instead? I’m sure the separate sleeping space and kitchen could come in handy

    Disney with a baby

Hi! We’re planning a Disney trip and it will also be our first vacation with an infant. (I’m due Feb 2019 and we’re planning a WDW trip November 2019) Any tips or suggestions for visiting Disney with a baby? We’re already planning on staying on the monorail loop so we don’t have to wrestle with...

    Flying with a Preschooler?

My nanny family would use lollipops when they flew with the kiddos.

Poly...should we or shouldn't we...that is the question

I would book at the current rate and keep checking back for discounts. Polynesian is my favorite, we stayed there for my golden birthday last year :)

How do you do Disney in the rain?

I usually wear plastic sandals/flip flops, something comfortable and waterproof. Definitely no leather sandals or gymshoes. (They’ll take forever to dry out!) I’ll pack dri-fit activewear (undergarments included!) which helps keep us dry. I also bring either an umbrella or poncho and a plastic...

    WORST DISNEY DINING EXPERIENCE

Not a dining experience but I had the WORST experience at chefs de France. We were sitting around in the world showcase after illuminations. It was pretty empty and my dad’s blood sugar plummeted. We didn’t have anything and it got to the point where he couldn’t even walk anymore. I was...

Best plan for a Saturday at WDW

I think both places will be crowded on a Saturday but the outlet mall should empty out around/after dinner. I would probably do AK on Thursday and shopping on Saturday.

    Anyone else job-hunting?

Has he tried doing any freelance work to boost his experience? It would give him some flexibility in his schedule to attend other job interviews etc.

    Shoes for water park?

Haven’t tried water socks, I always just went barefoot or tried to keep cheap flip flops around. I did notice amazon had some water shoes that looked like sneakers on their “deals” section. If your husband needs support, maybe those would work best?

    Meat going bad before date

I always get my meat from the counter at Whole Foods so it’s wrapped in paper (no styrofoam or those weird pads to soak up juice) When I get home I’ll freeze it if not cooking within 3 days. If I’m keeping it in the fridge I store it on the bottom shelf all the way at the back. (I also put it in...

Port Orleans- does it feel like a motel?

Each resort has their pros/cons. I personally prefer Polynesian purely for the convince of the monorail. If you’ll be mostly at Magic Kingdom or Epcot you’ll definitely have a better transportation experience. (The swan is close second, can’t beat walking distance to Epcot! Plus those Westin...

Best lightweight flip flip for parks?

I have a few pairs of reef flip flops that are amazing!! I have a leather pair that has good support. I really like their luxe escape ones too. The luxe ones are kind of narrow though..

What to do in HS in May, no shows?

You could add in a lunch reservation somewhere to maximize your time at that park. The Sci Fi restaurant has great milkshakes!
