Are the other rides going to open soon?

Wild Arctic will probably never reopen (old and broken. The others require a lot of maintenance...cheaper not to run them.

    All the Bus Complaints

Exactly. I'm still on the fence about it, as I would have to take a pay cut and the extra mental stress. I currently make more at another theme park, but I'm concerned about the future for it. I currently have a prime choice schedule and almost free reign. So even though I made it nearly...

    All the Bus Complaints

Pretty sure it's employee shortage. I applied in Feb and just had my Zoom interview a few days ago. Just have to pass my written CDL and wait again. Lots of rules and regulations for CDLs nowadays. The backlogs at local DMVs do not help either.

    Surge protector?

Just trying to wrap my head around it. I have a Progressive surge protector myself (the external pole mounted). This is the preferred hookup to offer the most protection? I'm somewhat competent with electrical stuff, but myself need a universal solution as I do not know how to test/protect...

    Headed to Nashville

Jellystone Nashville is right next to the interstate and Opry Mills Mall. Very crowded area...if that's your thing. TN state parks have pretty good RV parks. See an app called RV Parky.

    Homeschooling Disney Families

We also did extra magic hours at Epcot before park hopping to Hollywood. Used that to experience Nemo and the aquarium all to ourselves. Pretty awesome. The dolphins were out playing and my son was able to have complete attention of the keepers. There is so much you can teach while there as well...

    Homeschooling Disney Families

My son is homeschooled. He is 10 and Christmas was his first trip. After we got back we had a lot of lessons about the physics involved with the rides and experimented a lot with Lego builds. Also World Showcase is a lesson in itself. Lots of culture and world geography.

Booked the dining plan - here's why it's "worth it"

It is a lot of food. We used ours to treat family to many TS they wouldn't have been able to afford. We are a family of 3, but treated extended family (9 more) to lunch and dinner at places like Boma, Tusker House, BOG, etc. If it was just us 3 and we weren't upgrading from a free plan, then I...

    Delux Dinning Plan

Don't forget dessert! That's included too. It was expensive but worth it for us...if that makes sense.

Can I share my DDP with non DDP person?

Yes. We used ours (family of 3) to pay for many TS meals with 11 people. They will ask if you are on the DP and if it is on one or more plans. Tip: the servers prefer one plan as it makes it easier. We didn't worry about the large party gratuity as our service was always excellent, but I always...

Has anyone used the DDP while staying at a FW Cabin? Or place with kitchen?

You can definitely bring food back to the cabin. We got a cabin for my BIL and his family (6 people). They qualified for the free quick service plan and also joined us for many TS meals. Bring an insulated backpack with empty Tupperware and an ice pack, throw leftovers in that and put in...

Booked the dining plan - here's why it's "worth it"

We upgraded to the Deluxe at our last stay. Just made it easier since we did a lot of TS meals. Since we already had a free dining plan the upgrade was worth it. Did we have leftover credits on our last day...yes. Did we use them before we left...YES! We were staying at Kidani and bought every...

We ended up choosing AKL now info needed

We stayed at Kidani for Christmas. Eat at Boma. Play with the kids at the pool water park. And as suggested, sit on your balcony and watch the animals, it's very relaxing. I would suggest floor 3 or higher at least at Kidani. We were on the second floor which is the same level as the lobby...

Underground Parking at Kidani Village and luggage carrier question

Not sure about underground, but we were there at Christmas and there were still plenty of outdoor parking spots. My father in-law drove his truck with camper down.
