Good plan can book earlier and then adjust as necessary. If you have more points book out a longer period then cancel what doesn’t work. Since she is paying cash it should be a good savings.

I would compare it to renting DVC points. That’s a little less than half the cost yearly but you don’t have to pay up front.

I feel the same way. For Younger kids this is a safe and happy place to take them. I’m hoping it stays that way for the next 10 years or so. Hopefully they will have memories of a happy childhood. That would be worth all the cost and more.

I bought with Bonnie as well. She was good. I like that fidelity is priced reasonably well and there is less haggling. I was similar to you and found that the really competitive pricing list8ngs went immediately.

Beaches in the Caribbean have nicer sand and views imo. Hawaii is safer though from a food and environment standpoint. I do like the Hawaiian culture and food found on the island (a bit more Asian centric).

Family and I really enjoy Disney cruises - never tried one to Hawaii but overall can’t see it being bad. The onboard activities for the kids is really good. The split stay is a really good idea. With the price of Aulani I think it’s worthwhile to stay at the resort and enjoy the beach, pools...
