    What restaurant surprised you?

San Angel Inn in the Mexico Pavilion. If I had to choose my all-time favorite restaurant at Disney, it would be here all the way. I have heard so many mixed reviews about SAI (specifically the authenticity of the food), and yet every single time I've visited, I've been blown away. Not...

Sci Fi Diner or Hollywood Brown Derby?

DEFINITELY Sci Fi - especially if you two haven't been! For me atmosphere is everything, and the fact that Sci Fi can take you from busy Hollywood Studios and place you at a 1950s drive in theatre at twilight makes it a truly one-of-a-kind magical experience. Just as everyone else has said...

First official picture of the cast of Aladdin

Reserve your judgment until after you watch it. Like you, I was initially turned off by the animation style and storyline, however after seeing the it Christmas Eve, I ended up completely overwhelmed with how much I loved it. I daresay it's made my top three list of all time animated favorites...

    Ugh..Disney cancelled

While I haven't been, I've heard Turtle Bay offers an amazing luau. They're a hop, skip and jump away on the North Shore, but considering the reviews are stellar and it's offered at one of the nicest resorts on island, plus the drive itself is breathtaking, it might be worth your drive.

    Reflections: A Disney Lakeside Resort

I was just about to say it should be called "Reflections - Disney's Take on A Hilton Resort". If this is "nature themed" then what do they consider AKL and WL? This monstrosity belongs on I4 amongst all the other generic hotels and apartment complexes.

Favorite non Aulani thing to do

Take a beach day, but get there by driving through Haleiwa and North Shore over to Laie Beach Park (on the northeastern part of the island). The view from this beach is absolutely breathtaking and the most beautiful on the island, and what adds to the charm are the old pier posts that jut up...

Is clothing required on your verandah?

Having just recently sailed on an extended balcony on our last cruise on the Fantasy, I can certainly attest that more balconies are in view from the railing at the end of ours. However, a little bit of courtesy on our part assured we didn't see anyone or anything unnecessary. We also were...

    Boorish behavior

Having sailed on seven cruises (six with Disney and one with Royal), I was lucky enough to only encounter strange behavior once, and unsurprisingly it was on Royal. My husband and I ended up in one of the lounges for an adult-only comedy show, and some older man, probably in his sixties...

Is clothing required on your verandah?

That's interesting... were you sailing on a Disney cruise ship? Because unless you're looking down on an extended balcony, you can't see into someone else's deck beside you, nor down onto a deck below as - hello - they're all the same dimensions and therefore don't permit easy viewing. Then...

Is clothing required on your verandah?

Considering anyone would have to physically force themselves over and around the barrier conveniently blocking the view of the staterooms next to you, your logic doesn't apply. Looking down is one thing. Physically craning your body over the railing AND peering into someone else's balcony is an...

Select photopass locations to be replaced by automated cameras

This is what you get when you demand $15 per hour at a minimum wage job - the company finds a cheaper way to replace you. This isn't rocket science. :rolleyes1

PhotoPass photographers being replaced with cameras

This is what you get when you demand $15 per hour for a minimum wage job - the company finds a cheaper way to replace you. We're not dealing with rocket science here. :rolleyes1

    Crews Cup Lounge, horrible experience

Or they could just be busy, like the OP mentioned at the very beginning of their post. :)

    Crews Cup Lounge, horrible experience

I wonder if you would post a scathing review of your doctor if you found out they had a tattoo. We aren't in the 1920s anymore. Body art doesn't effect someone's ability to perform their job. If you're going to complain about poor service, have at it. Don't unjustifiably nitpick...

    RIP Captain Jack

A matter of time? With the cancellation of Boba Fett and horrible performance of Solo, I'd say they're already there. :rolleyes1

    Reflections: A Disney Lakeside Resort

You're exactly right - precisely why I will not waste my vacation hours and money staying in a Hyatt look-a-like. It's a sad day to me when Universal's resorts now out-theme Disney, and it will be a continuing trend as seen in recent developments.

    Best world showcase restaurant

San Angel Inn is my husband and I's FAVORITE! We've always been pleased with the food, had attentive servers, and just love the romantic ambiance overlooking the river in candlelight. It's just not an experience you can get anywhere else. And while a definite second to SAI, my honorable...

Can you share a place you couldnt wait to eat but was a huge letdown

50's Prime Time hands down. I went for lunch with my husband and dad last September, and aside from the bland, subpar food, I couldn't get past how filthy the entire restaurant was. It looked as though nobody had dusted the décor since it opened! I don't care how entertaining the servers could...

    Reflections: A Disney Lakeside Resort

I've seen apartment complexes with better theming than this. To say I'm underwhelmed would be an understatement.

    Animal Kingdom reducing attraction hours

Thank you for clarifying! I can relate a bit to that sentiment as I too have seen that to be the case. However as someone who works hard for every dollar I bring home, whether they be for necessities or for fun, I'll always be disinclined to spend them where they have little to no worth. Having...
