    Discovery Cove - General Information

I second this, or buy a waterproof digi-cam. I picked up a NIkon CoolPix W-something (not sure what model but the current offering is W300), there is a cheaper version but looks less rugged). Worked great in the aviary, river, dophin swim, and deep water areas.

Disney News, Discussion & an Element of Fun - 2022 Edition

It's been quite a while since I saw Avatar, but this one seems way more PG than the original. Hopefully its not "The way of the Watered-Down"

Disney News, Discussion & an Element of Fun!

Disappointing news that season 3 hadn't started filming. Depending on the how long the pending Film/TV workers strike goes, we may not see Mando S3, what late 2022 or 2023?

Disney News, Discussion & an Element of Fun!

By the time I get back to WDW this will probably be gone, but I think it's great (even with it's mishaps) that WDW is "investing" in things like this. Sometimes is nice just to slow down and sit down (although it looks like the seats aren't shaded) and watch something like this. Big $$$$...

See everyone says all Disney wants is your money, they won't even let you spend more on the same ride!

True, but I guess its better than paying $$$ for light up ears that you never see because they are on your head! :) Money spent for other people's entertainment.

Aren't the pavilions sponsored by companies and owned by Disney? The county itself doesn't have anything to do with it, anymore.

    Discovery Cove arrival time

Disclaimer: I went in 2016 so maybe things have changed. If you plan on doing the Dolphin Swim I would try to get there early to be one of the first to get in. This enables you to get an early morning swim time. Then you do your swim and don't have to watch the clock for the rest of the day...

    News Round Up 2021

Yeah. a 70% vax rate is a pipe dream I think. I would like to see data on those who have gotten(or will) a covid vax yet don't normally get the flu shot. I think flu shot coverage in the US for those over 6 months is just under 50%

Halloween & Christmas at Sea World 2021

Of all the parks I like SW best for Christmas. But IIRC "Christmas" starts the day after Thanksgiving @ SW.

Yep. Schools can do it, why can't a business? http://www.floridahealth.gov/programs-and-services/immunization/children-and-adolescents/school-immunization-requirements/index.html Personally there will come a time in a near future where the 3 W's become a means of protecting yourself vs not...

1st time discovery cove with dolphin swim. Any tips?????????

I will also second an early Dolphin swim time (if you are doing it). The reason being; you can get there a bit earlier, get a early time, enjoy a nice breakfast, suit up and swim with the dolphin, then not have to worry about the clock again until closing time :) It's such a leisurely place...

How long do you usually go to Disney? (Non- locals)

The past 2 trips we've left NC on Friday (after work), drive about half way (Savanah GA). Get there late Saturday morning. We really enjoy the resorts so we'll get a 7 or 8 day hopper and have a break day or two during the week to explore. Leave the following Sunday (8 nights) - often we will...

    Thanksgiving Day at SeaWorld?

I can highly recommend SW on Thanksgiving. I think SW does the best Christmas of all the Orlando parks. We've gone twice on T-Day.... From what I remember though that the hours are still limited on that day open - 5. Unf I can't comment on the QQ as we aren't coaster crazy.... I will tell...

    News Round Up 2020

I've read WDW recently installed plexiglass, allowing non-same party riders to share a ride vehicle. No more single rider sitting alone.
