$250 per person off a $5000+ trip is not much incentive.

ABD trips are cheapest when they are first released. The price will only increase from there as the trips fill up. If they are having trouble filling a trip, they may put a discount on NEW bookings only but it's usually not that much.

Not all of the Nat Geo active trips are just countryside focused. We took advantage of a similar offer. They were offering $750 off the Zambia trip if we booked before the end of March 2017. Nowhere did it say we had to travel by the end of 2017 so we were able to apply it to our trip for 2018.
