    ECV availability at the parks

My recommendation would be to keep the scooter rental; most vendors will pick-up the return from most of the offsite locations. You would need to confirm with your vendor. But to answer your question... expect ECV rentals to run-out by mid-morning. When it's really busy there have been...

DAS changes coming WDW May 20/ DL June 18, 2024

Disneyland (the California parks) will transition to the new rules about a month behind WDW, so it currently isn't anywhere near the cut-off for qualifying under old rules. At this point, I wouldn't take a DL CM at their word as gospel since I'm not sure the training has rolled out there yet...

Now DD’s friends want to tag along! Questions

Agree with above. 18 to 20 year olds can be booked into a cabin with others in that age range, but not younger unless it's their own child. (So a 20-yr-old parent can cruise with a child.) You'll need to adjust your booking -- which may be a challenge if you are within the PIF period. But...

Tickets and Annual Pass Questions - Please add your ticket questions to this thread

As PP said -- if your tickets have a designated start date, you do not need theme park reservations. But just to clarify... current tickets with a specified start date are not "Magic Your Way" they are now just "theme park tickets." So if your tickets are older MYW or Magic Your Way purchased...

DAS changes coming WDW May 20/ DL June 18, 2024

Those who are within their 30-day pre-registration window are getting registered based on the “old” rules. However, they may find some changes such as length DAS is valid, presumably the 10-minute delay will be in place as of 5/20, possibly how many may join the DAS-holder for a given ride...

VGT Wish rate available for 3 but not 4

Yes. *GT rates are offered to fill the ships. Keeping it to 3 passengers allows for the most flexibility. Sometimes *GT allows for 4, but not always. While DCL offers a lot of flexibility with how many guests can be booked into a stateroom, overall occupancy does not allow that max in all...

Disappointing Adult Cruise On The Dream

The envelopes have been in place since the days before the auto-gratuity was in place. Some folks preferred to use cash (some still do and cancel the auto-gratuity), others pre-paid the recommended but would add cash (some still do). The little slip is just for the CM's personal accounting --...

Stroller for an almost 7 year old and infant

True. Skyliner: side-by-side double strollers must be folded; front-back (aka inline or tandem) doubles can be pushed on Buses: all strollers must be folded Monorail: all strollers can remain open and pushed on Boats: depends on the route and the boat, some can take an open stroller some...

Disappointing Adult Cruise On The Dream

The point some PPs are making is that "basic" is still subjective. For example, you consider a buffet to be one of the basic requirements of cruising. Not everyone feels the same way. There's no right or wrong -- you like what you like, I like what I like, someone else has entirely different...

Tickets and Annual Pass Questions - Please add your ticket questions to this thread

As PP suggests, since their tickets are linked to your MDE you can use the phone. I don't know if each of the visitors can use their own phones unless you want them to be logging in through your MDE account.

    Reliable Online Retail Sites

I don't shop much for clothes online unless I'm sure of the size and fit. So I usually only shop through websites of retail stores with which I'm familiar -- JCPenney, Kohl's, Lands End, etc.

    Presto Pizzazz Pizza Oven

I use a pizza stone in my regular oven. It also works on our gas grill. But we don't cook pizza all that often.

Stroller for an almost 7 year old and infant

They are expensive, some moreso than others. Hence the suggestion to see if your medical insurance will cover. That will require input from the doctor and maybe PT (if he has PT). Depending on the style you select, it may work for him through pre-teen years at which point presumably he could...

DAS changes coming WDW May 20/ DL June 18, 2024

Just in the past few days it has become apparent that those with an AP, who have a trip starting after May 20th, are told their DAS is valid for 30 days from first park day. This is different than what those who registered in the past month (since the announcement) were told and does not appear...

Direct from WDW, online. To my knowledge nobody offers discounted 1-day tickets, and the resellers may actually cost more.

OBB can't be canceled and rebooked?

Well, then can you push out the OBB cruise over the phone, then go online and book the original date with the new price? But be sure what you are finding online is accurate -- it's very rare that DCL drops regular fares, they do offer special restricted fares but you can't choose a stateroom...

OBB can't be canceled and rebooked?

You cannot "cancel" and rebook, but if you are outside of the penalty phase you should be able to "change the date" and push it out as long as the new date is within the 2-year window.

    Disney World with fractured ankle

LOL! It's the age... some kids that age wouldn't be caught dead in a stroller, while others prefer it. Have a great vacation!

    Disney World with fractured ankle

It is possible for a child to have their own, though it's much more likely to be a kid with a long-term disability and not a short-term injury. But it would be allowed IF the child brought their own; the challenge is that the rental vendors in Orlando will not rent for someone that young to use it.

    Disney World with fractured ankle

If you are thinking this as as "kids scooter" Then, no, that won't be allowed. It's considered "recreational" by the rules: Recreational devices such as drones, remote-control toys, skateboards, scooters, inline skates or shoes with built-in wheels. Bicycles are permitted only in designated...
