Weather changes plans. Help from those with recent crowd experience

We have the 4 park 4 day tickets and are visiting Orlando tomorrow, Saturday, to next Saturday staying at a timeshare not on property. Our plan was to go to the parks this coming Monday to Thursday. On Wednesday the weather was saying afternoon scattered showers each day. But now there is a...

What tips/tricks would you give to first time visitor?

FWIW I have ridden Forbidden Journey a few times in California. The ride definitely feels more motion simulator than rollercoaster to me. I prefer rollercoasters over simulators. The screens bother my eyes. It does move slow and there are no drops. But the seat definitely moves and I could see...

    2 parks in 1 day?

We just rescheduled our June trip for next week. My mom chose not to go with us. I called Disney and I was able to get a full refund for her ticket. I also let them know we had parkhopper + tickets, and they were able to refund that portion of the tickets for us too. They said expect 1-2 weeks...

    Disney Springs Photo Studio

Has anyone been to the Disney Springs photo studio since they reopened? I was wondering if the kids are allowed to take masks off in the studio for pictures.

    ****December 2020 Thread****

I was able to book 9 days betweend 11/30 and 12/9 for our party of six with no problem this morning. Here's hoping my husband's vacation change is approved. We were supposed to be in FL the last two weeks through this week. We had to make some adjustments since he can only put in for 2 weeks now...

    ****December 2020 Thread****

In general only one waterpark is open in December. We were going to go in the summer when both would typically be open. I didn't mean there was an announcement about water parks.

expiration date extended for current ticket holders

Ours also changed. I noticed this a few days ago. I was glad because to change dates was going to cost more money due to the discount we had and the raise in prices. Now we can use them for any 9 days before Sept 26 next year.

    ****December 2020 Thread****

Well we were going in June...but  So after much discussion with my mom on when we should reschedule our trip, we are planning December 1 to about December 15/17. If things stay similar to our June trip Mom will join us for about the first week and a half and then we'll have about a week...

Mid October trip, buy tickets now or wait till reservation system announced?

Those with WDW room reservations were included. In fact I assume they may reach out to those with reservations before those (like me) with just tickets, based on dates too likely. "Because theme park capacity will be significantly limited as we welcome guests back to the magic, we will manage...

AFTER HOURS events when Disney re-opens?

Universal is only open until 6PM when they reopen. I think extended maintenance and cleaning is a real factor to consider.

    Extending tickets vs using credit

I was under the impression that multi day tickets stayed the same this year and parkhopper only went up $5 per ticket. However, after a little looking into it I suppose it is possible you are right. Since the date prices fluctuate it is difficult for blog annalysts to know for sure if the price...

    Extending tickets vs using credit

I looked at it today online (computer not app), and it was available. The dates were just all more expensive. I don't know if that is a real cost difference in days. Seems odd that September is so much more than June. I'm wondering if it is factoring in that we bought the tickets from a 3rd party.

    Extending tickets vs using credit

Thank you. So the credit is not really monetary. We purchased 6 tickets for $X and would need to purchase 6 tickets again of equal or greater value. We are not provided a monetary equivalent to purchase tickets as we choose. That is good to know, but a bit disappointing.

    Extending tickets vs using credit

I have seen a lot of articles about this too. It is very likely that Disney will restructure ticketing again once they have all the parks reopen under mostly normal circumstances. Initially I do no think they'll have trouble reaching capacity as capacity will be limited, but as the restrictions...

    Extending tickets vs using credit

Does anyone know how the credit works? I think we just let our tickets get passed their use date without using them (parks probably won't be open anyway). Then they're worth what we paid for them (or what they cost even if we paid less, not sure). And we can use the money to repurchase tickets...

    Extending tickets vs using credit

We are cancelling our June trip. And likely rebooking for late April early May. Just looking at fall dates and the tickets are all more expensive than what we purchased except a week in mid September. That seems odd as our dates were not the cheapest dates of June.

    Extending tickets vs using credit

I find this very frustrating. We purchased park hopping water park tickets. There is a possibility the parks could open without water parks. So we will have paid for something we can't use or have to change our dates to wait for the water parks to open. And then there are the attractions that...

    Masks - really ?

Costco is requring all people to wear masks to shop. It doesn't matter what our opinions on the subject are, this is the current reality. Disney may as well cash in.
