    Montana in Early May

Excellent info! Thanks so much. It's good to have some suggestions for things we may want to see. It's definitely easier than having to start from scratch on the planning. We may need to spend more time in Yellowstone than we originally thought. I'm going to check out Gardiner. It sounds like...

    Montana in Early May

Thanks I noticed that a lot was closed, when I was looking for ideas. I got excited about a show only to find out they were dark, until Memorial Day. Oh well, we'll find something to do.

    What’s for Dinner Tonight?

DH decided he wanted one more "country cooking" meal, before we left the area. He had fried catfish, French fries & corn nuggets. I can't handle that much fried food in a single meal, so I ordered country fried steak w/gravy, mashed potatoes & collard greens. We have enough left for lunch...

    Montana in Early May

Once again, I'm hoping for planning help for a last minute trip. This time it's a trip to Montana. (This is assuming there's not a last minute change. :sad2:) We're planning to fly into Bozeman, unless there's a better option. We'll be spending time there & traveling to Butte...

    The nightmare thread. 😱 🛌

I have dreams nightly & nightmares way more frequently than I'd like. In my last nightmare, I was in a hotel. DH was on a jobsite. The manager comes in to tell me a tractor trailer blew up & he was killed immediately. I'm in a state far away from anyone I know & the manager is trying to help...

    What’s for Dinner Tonight?

It's been close to 30 years, since I've had a tuna casserole. That brings back good memories. I need a good recipe that can be sized down for 2 people.

Thoughts on the changes WDW/DL are making to the DAS pass?

There are a few things Disney could do that would stop the cheating & allow those with physical disabilities to receive the same treatment as those who currently qualify for DAS. Unfortunately, previous experience on the disabilities board makes me hesitant to discuss that here.

Thoughts on the changes WDW/DL are making to the DAS pass?

If your intent was simply to inform people that there is a change, this board is fine. I just didn't know what type of discussion you were looking for. :)

    What’s for Dinner Tonight?

Last night we had pepperoni flatbread. Tonight: Cheese Tortellini, Italian Sausage Marinara Sauce & Garlic Bread

Thoughts on the changes WDW/DL are making to the DAS pass?

Yes, but that board is very selective about what you're allowed to discuss. It's a very one sided conversation. I'm not sure what the OP is hoping for out of the discussion, but if it's a broad range of views, this should probably be posted on the Controversial Board where everyone is allowed to...

    What’s for Dinner Tonight?

When I was growing up, our fried chicken was always bone-in. DH was the first person I knew who ate tenders, specifically at this particular restaurant. That is pretty much the only place I eat fried tenders to this day. If I'm going to eat fried chicken, it's almost always bone-in. Other people...

    What’s for Dinner Tonight?

I didn't know that. This location is normally the only place I eat chicken tenders, but I'll pass that info along to DH. We're always looking for something new to try on the road.

    What’s for Dinner Tonight?

I'm curious. What's the dressing? Are we talking stuffing (which is referred to as dressing where I'm from), salad dressing or something else? Inquiring minds want to know. :teeth:

    What’s for Dinner Tonight?

I grew up eating fried chicken, but never with gravy. This place has been serving it that way for at least 40 years & still going strong.

In Praise of Quieter Restaurants —help me with the list!

Sci-fi is the quietest restaurant at WDW, but I'm afraid it wouldn't be very "bad hip" friendly. We typically ask for the quietest area possible. A table in a side room is usually a good bet, if there is one. Surprisingly bars can also be a quieter place to sit.

    What’s for Dinner Tonight?

Last night we ordered takeout from DH's favorite restaurant in his hometown. We shared a 5 piece chicken tender meal with mashed potatoes w/gravy, green beans, biscuit, an extra side of okra & ordered a side of country gravy to dip the chicken tenders in. I know..... I thought dipping chicken...

    What’s for Dinner Tonight?

It sounds like you live in a great neighborhood. My in-laws liked to fish in the ocean, but they always did catch & release. I've only had fresh caught, freshwater fish served at home. My experiences were better than any fish I've had in a restaurant, but I'm sure sharing it with family had...

    What’s for Dinner Tonight?

Last night we took my oldest sister out to dinner. She had chopped steak w/mushroom gravy, broccoli cheddar soup & mac-n-cheese, DH had a burger w/ fries & I had Filet tips w/ peppers & onions, broccoli salad & baked potato. Tonight we had beef stroganoff & steamed broccoli.

    What’s for Dinner Tonight?

Freshly caught fish sounds amazing. I have fond memories of my uncles catching fish & inviting our family over for a fish fry.
