    DDP is soo much worse!

We're not planning on going any time soon (I think), so it'll be a little while before I see how the new iteration works for us, but we have NEVER not made out well on the dining plan, no matter what they've done to it (although we are not discussing how wonderful it was back in '07 on our first...

Big River Grill is supposedly closing

Tried it once. Absolutely the worst table service meal we've ever had on property. Seriously mediocre, and the service experience wasn't great. The beer was fine. Hopefully what replaces it will be better.

Autistic older teen - kids meals?

It's a little hit or miss, but most of the time you'll be able to order a child's meal. We checked ahead of time, and they treated as if it were an allergy issue, but my husband was able to order a kid's meal (at kid's prices, although obviously we didn't care) at Citrico's in 2021. It was my...

Breakfast Buffet/Character Meal with Pancakes (Plain, Not Blueberry or Chocolate Chip)

Excellent! That will probably work for us! They don't seem to list them plain, but...

Breakfast Buffet/Character Meal with Pancakes (Plain, Not Blueberry or Chocolate Chip)

He wants pancakes with his bacon. He often does have trouble finding much he'll eat other than bacon, and there are limits as to how much bacon even DH will eat. If they don't have the batter made up, they probably can't, but I am wondering if someplace that has them with "stuff" can't provide...

Breakfast Buffet/Character Meal with Pancakes (Plain, Not Blueberry or Chocolate Chip)

I don't feel like it used to be, I know we've had pancakes at them, but I'm just not seeing a lot on the published menus.

Breakfast Buffet/Character Meal with Pancakes (Plain, Not Blueberry or Chocolate Chip)

Unfortunately, I don't see Boma working, since it doesn't even have Safari Mickey. I'm contemplating Chef Mickey's. We've always avoided it, but my ex-boss (and still friend) always liked it, and it seems to have both pancakes and Mickey. I had seen Cape May, but it only looked like blueberry...

Breakfast Buffet/Character Meal with Pancakes (Plain, Not Blueberry or Chocolate Chip)

They are nearly the only thing DH likes for breakfast. He will not eat waffles or French Toast (or eggs of any kind, or sausage, or most cereals, or...), and while he will eat bacon, ham, and some breakfast breads, he feels that when paying Disney prices for breakfast, he wants pancakes. Tusker...

    Accommodations for sit down meals

This was a couple of years ago, but my husband, who is a very restricted eater, and needs things to be very plain, was able to order from the children's menu at Citrico's, and was brought a child's portion, child priced, and they were super accommodating about it. We would have paid for an adult...

    I miss the dining plan

We miss it too. We always got value from it, and it just made life easy. I don't understand why at least quick service hasn't come back, since it's not nearly as sensitive to staffing levels.

Suggestions for dinner in Epcot during Food & Wine, and what happened to the menu at Rose and Crown?

Most counter service will not work for that "dinner break", no matter how good the food is. We've never been completely sure why, but we can't really recharge somewhere like Sunshine Seasons, which we love for breakfast or lunch. Lighting level and noise are definitely some of the issue, but I...

Suggestions for dinner in Epcot during Food & Wine, and what happened to the menu at Rose and Crown?

Excellent! I had wound up on what seemed to be its own link, which was cool, but was only giving me a beverage menu. Tutto gusto is a long time fave, and as long as they have food, would work for our purposes.

Suggestions for dinner in Epcot during Food & Wine, and what happened to the menu at Rose and Crown?

We're going in October for Food & Wine. Three adults, who despite the heavy grazing WILL need to sit down for an evening meal for various reasons. We may not all be hugely hungry, but at least one of us will want an entree, if not a full meal, and we'll all want something. This needs to be a...

    Return of the Dining Plan?

I've given up waiting for it. We're probably going to do a couple of days in October even without it, but if anyone at Disney is watching this, we'd almost certainly stay on property longer if it were available, and possibly spring for an extra park day. Hint, hint. We always, always made out...

    MSNSSHP only for little kids?

Thanks! DH will not want to wear a costume, but he's generally in favor of things like parades. I was having a hard time imagining he WOULDN'T like it, but he got that idea somewhere. I suspect he was figuring it was something like the trick or treat stations at Dorney Park or Hershey.

    MSNSSHP only for little kids?

My DH has gotten this idea from somewhere. Trying to figure out if it's more "for little kids" than MVMCP, or Magic Kingdom on any ordinary day.

Rosen Inn LBV walking distance to Disney Springs?

It looks like it should be, about a mile with one slightly hairy light controlled crossing, and otherwise reasonably pedestrian friendly. Does this seem accurate? I can walk that far easily, but use a cane, so I don't always move that fast, and wouldn't try to cross a busy road without a...

    Parking at DHS for Epcot

Will they care which park our reservation is for? We do have hopping, and the idea is to park at DHS around 10 am, and then take a leisurely stroll over to Epcot to enter through the International Gateway at 11 am, walking back to DHS at some point in the afternoon or evening.
