    Discovery Cove - General Information

Yes, it covers everyone in your party. Like someone else said, if you booked together you will automatically be in the same group. If you did not book together, you can ask at check in and they will try to accommodate you. I wanted to add that if you split up at different parts of the day and...

    Blue Friday 2017

Yeah, it's the same as last year. For some it'll be a great deal but for others it won't. It all depends on when you're going. I ended up saving $90 a piece which is worth it to me.

    Blue Friday 2017

Those black out dates for DC are from the gift admissions you can buy on their website normally. Those are not stated specifically anywhere on the site for Blue Friday deals. I'll wait until noon when the deals go live before I jump to conclusions. As I said before, I did this last year and...

    Blue Friday 2017

I don't know where the talk of blackout dates for DC came up. I did this offer last year and there was no blackout dates. Last year, the admission for DC as part of the Blue Friday sale was $229.00. You bought a voucher, for lack of a better word, that you then turned in to book any day you...

    2 New Discovery Cove Experiences!

Vickie106 - I haven't done the shark swim myself (yet!) so don't know if they have anyone photographing/videotaping the experience, but there are bridges right over the area that would be perfect for other people in your party to watch and take pics/videos themselves. It's MUCH closer than...

    Discovery Cove ticket question

If you're going to DC first, as opposed to going to SeaWorld or Aquatica, then you'll be fine. I've never actually had to show anything other than my id at DC. When you check in, they just ask for your name and id. If you're going to SeaWorld or Aquatica first, then I'm not sure if your...

    SeaWorld Blue Friday Sale 2016

For DC, you're locking in the price. When you get your "ticket" at the end, it says right on it that you'll receive another email with the redemption info. You then use that to book your date. (Hopefully that makes sense.)

    SeaWorld Blue Friday Sale 2016

It's not bullcrap. The preview clearly stated UP TO $110. I'm actually saving the $110 - it depends on when you go.

SeaWorld saddened to announce the passing of Jenny

July 28, 2016 We are saddened to announce the passing of Jenny, one of Discovery Cove’s bottlenose dolphins. Jenny was diagnosed about 15 years ago with squamous cell carcinoma of the tongue and frenulum, a form of oral cancer that is found in wild dolphins, as well as those at zoological...

    Feed the stingrays?

You can pay to feed the stingrays at SeaWorld, in which case you're guaranteed to feed them. At DC, if you're in the Grand Reef at the right time(s), you might get to feed them but it's not a guarantee.

    Discovery cove this Saturday

If you asked me this time last year, I would have said we would have changed our reservation. After our last time at DC though, I'd now say keep it. :) We went last October and the forecast said it was going to rain. There were people there that morning of their reservation changing it to...

What to wear at Discovery Cove

This isn't my tip (so I'm not taking credit) but I don't remember where I read it... if you're using the wetsuits, you don't have to struggle to get the wet one back on after taking it off. You can simply take it back to the vest/wetsuit hut and turn it in for another one (a DRY one ;)).

    Camera question regarding Discovery Cove

You can't take anything into the dolphin swim for the safety of the animals. The only thing they let you take is wedding rings and sunglasses (but they have to stay on your face, not your head.) You can however take the camera in anywhere else. Hope that helps! :)

Discovery Cove Trainer for a Day

Honestly, I would say it depends on your daughter. When I was that age, I wanted to work with dolphins/whales and would have loved to do the TFAD. Heck, I still do! Also, is she a good swimmer? The extra dolphin time is a plus and is deep water. They can accommodate and do something...
